Here’s how esports trading works at Crypto.com

Crypto.com presently lacks several esports selections and would benefit from adding Dota 2, Valorant, Call of Duty, and Honor of Kings prediction markets. That said, the site’s esports coverage is dominated by League of Legends (LoL) events. There were no niche esports competitions at the time of writing.

Plus, winner contracts were the only featured markets: there were no handicaps or totals. I also didn’t find trading volumes or liquidity figures for each of the event contracts (it’s a big miss).

Speaking of which, I traded live and pre-event markets that were based on LoL and Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) events. Some events I traded were Team Vitality vs Legacy, Leviatán vs FURIA esports, and GIANTX vs Fnatic, which are established S/A-tier matches.

Crypto.com bonuses: Does it apply to prediction markets?

New traders who buy or sell designated tokens and meet a minimum trading threshold within 30 days of creating their Crypto.com account are awarded welcome rewards. The site also features a couple of referral programs. However, these offers don’t apply to prediction markets at Crypto.com; there were no prediction-specific promotions or a loyalty program when I visited.

Trading at Crypto.com is easy

You’ll find the site’s available prediction markets under the Sports and Events pages, with its esports markets listed under “Sports”. That makes it easy for traders to find the available esports events whenever they want.

The pages load quickly, so moving around the site or doing things like building a combo doesn’t take long. I also like that the category of each esports match is specified right above the event, so traders don’t waste time looking for the events they want to trade on. For instance, it didn’t take long to find the Shopify Rebellion vs Cloud9 game, and that’s because the event description had League of Legends printed on it.

However, I didn’t find the trading volume metric on any of the event cards that I checked. Without this metric, it’s difficult to check the activity or liquidity of the market you’re trading on. This isn’t a good look for the site, as some of the best apps like Polymarket, go beyond displaying contract prices and probabilities. These apps have features that also allow traders to track trading volume for esports contracts.

The Crypto.com app has top ratings

Crypto.com features a native app that’s got above-average ratings on both the Google Play Store (4.4 out of 5) and the Apple App Store (4.7). The app’s also compatible with iOS 15.1+ and Android 8.0+ and supports 20+ languages, including English, making it one of the best prediction market apps for on-the-go trading.

I’d easily choose esports trading on the native app over Crypto.com’s desktop version. That’s because with the app, there’d be no hassle monitoring live events on the go whenever I’m away from my laptop.

The site supports multiple fiat and crypto payment options

Crypto.com supports instant, fee-free deposits via 350+ digital assets, including Bitcoin and Ethereum. It also supports deposits via fiat payment methods such as ACH bank transfer, wire transfer, instant deposit, debit card (Visa, Maestro, and Mastercard), Google Pay, PayPal, and Apple Pay.

Fiat deposits are instant; however, you may have to pay a fee. There’s a 1.49% fee for debit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay deposits, but it’s a bit higher for PayPal transactions (1.99%). On the flip side, deposits via ACH bank transfer, instant deposit, and wire transfer are fee-free.

Traders can also receive payouts at the site via bank transfer or crypto. Withdrawals via bank transfers are completed within 1 to 5 business days, depending on your bank. With crypto payouts at the site, the transaction time is almost instant. However, it might take up to 3 hours if the network is congested. There are also no withdrawal fees at Crypto.com.

I used the live chat to get more details about Crypto.com’s esports prediction markets. The chat started with a chatbot that responded within a couple of seconds, after which I asked to be transferred to a human agent. That took about a minute.

The chat agent I was transferred to was both knowledgeable and professional, and I’d rate the conversation 4 out of 5 based on the support I got from the chat. Live chat is a great option when you need support immediately, say, for instance, when trading on live esports markets.

Crypto.com also offers email support. However, it might take up to 24 hours to get a response when using this option. Email is best for situations where you may need to submit documentation or don’t need an immediate response to your queries.

Crypto.com is secure for prediction trading

Prediction markets on the site are offered by Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA), which is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Traders are required to complete a verification process before they can use the site’s services. This process requires providing personal details, a photo of a government ID, and a selfie. Crypto.com also supports two-factor authentication (2FA) as an extra layer of security.

Note that Crypto.com isn’t available in Arizona and New York. Although it’s available in Maryland, Nevada, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Massachusetts, and New Jersey, traders in these states can’t trade sports event contracts on the site. One more thing: only traders who are at least 18 years old can use Crypto.com’s services.

Football, baseball, soccer, golf, tennis, basketball, motorsports, sailing, and hockey are offered in this category. Here, you’d be able to build a combo prediction featuring two to eight picks on the same event contract.

Politics

US-based elections (Gubernatorial, Senate, Democratic, Republican, and US presidential elections) dominate the markets in this category. At the time of writing, the “Brazil Presidential Election Winner 2026” market was the only non-US event contract available.

Culture

This category is still growing at Crypto.com. That said, some of the available events include the Oscars: Best Picture Winner 2027, TIME Person of the Year 2026, Top Artist and Song on Spotify 2026, and Video Game of the Year 2026.

Crypto

Crypto.com’s crypto prediction markets cover 17 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. Plus, you’d also find lots of short-term markets such as 5-minute markets here.

Economics

In this category, traders can buy or sell contracts based on multiple events such as Fed Decisions, US Recession, ECB Interest Rates, and the unemployment rate.

Climate

I only found one prediction market in this category: “2026 Rank Among Hottest Years on Record”.

Conclusion – Crypto.com’s esports prediction markets are limited

At the time of writing, you could only trade predictions on LoL and CS2 matches on Crypto.com. “Winner” markets were also the only options available here. So, traders looking for moneyline, map handicaps, or total map markets may find the site’s offerings restrictive.

On the flip side, you’d still be able to trade on S/A tier events like the Vitality vs Legacy match. Some of the available LoL and CS2 events are also worth checking out. Granted, Crypto.com doesn’t offer the best esports trading services at the moment. However, its available markets may be worth looking at.
