Player Reviews
Based on what I found at this OG prediction market review that’s powered by Crypto.com, I’d rate OG as a weak esports prediction trading site. For starters, its esports coverage was limited to five markets.
Most of the esports markets also covered lower-tier events, although trading volumes were lower than at some other sites and liquidity could have been stronger. On the plus side, new traders can take advantage of 100% Profit Boosts and referral rewards. There’s also plenty to explore beyond esports, with sports, culture, and politics among the other available categories.

How does OG work?
OG is a prediction markets site, so it supports trading binary “Yes”/”No” event contracts tied to the likelihood of real-world events occurring. Contract prices range between $0.01 and $0.99, but OG doesn’t fix them. Instead, the prices are driven by the collective sentiment of the traders. Correct predictions settle at $1, and incorrect predictions expire at $0 (T&Cs apply).
OG also offers access to volume trends, price movements, and advanced charts. That way, traders can constantly retrieve insights and real-market data, which come in handy before or during trades. There’s also an interactive, community aspect to trading on the site. Traders get to compete on its leaderboards for prizes or engage with other traders through social posts or live chat.
At the time of writing, OG isn’t available to traders in Arizona and New York. On the flip side, it offers limited trading services in Illinois, Maryland, Ohio, Massachusetts, Nevada, Michigan, and New Jersey. Traders in these 7 US states can’t buy or sell sports events contracts at OG, but they can trade contracts in other categories.
What trading esports prediction markets at OG is like
OG currently doesn’t feature a dedicated event category for its esports prediction markets: they’re listed under the site’s sports events category. There were only five esports contracts linked to League of Legends games at the time of writing:
- “Maze Gaming vs Golden Lions”
- “KaBuM Ilha das Lendas vs Ei Nerd Esports”
- “T1 vs Hanwha Life Esports”
- “Vivo Keyd Stars Academy vs Estral E-Sports”
- “Conviction vs NRG Esports”
I also only found a moneyline market for each of OG’s esports markets. Of the five contracts available, only the “T1 vs Hanwha Life Esports” market was a tier-1 event; the others were low-tier events. There were also no niche events covered.
The trading volumes were low (the highest was $5,209), and the liquidity was thin. OG’s esports coverage also isn’t deep, especially when compared to the 300+ esports markets I found during my Kalshi review.
Do OG’s features check out?
Here’s the part of this review where I present my experiences after testing the site’s features:
Profit Boosts for new traders
OG offers its new traders 100% Profit Boosts over five consecutive days. It caps each boost at $20 in additional profits, so you could get up to $100 after five days. Skipping a day at the site doesn’t prevent you from being awarded the day’s boosts. There are no restrictions on the categories that the boosts can be used on.
However, the boosts are only valid for 24 hours and can only be used on one event contract at a time. To use this bonus, click on Profit Boosts from the order book before confirming your current trade. If your trade is successful, the profits double, and the site credits them to your account instantly.
OG is easy to trade on both PC and the app
Signing up to the site didn’t take long, thanks to how well the website runs. Traders will find the available prediction event categories listed at the top and on the left side of the home page. The tabs and buttons required just a tap to respond, and the pages loaded quickly. There’s also a search feature to help traders find markets easily.
OG features a responsive native app that’s compatible with iOS and Android devices. It’s just as functional as the website and offers a great mobile trading experience.
What else can you trade on at OG?
Besides the esports contracts available on the site for eligible traders, you can also trade contracts in the following event categories if you’re in an eligible location:
🏀 Sports
Tennis, basketball, motorsports, soccer, American football, and baseball are the other events available in this category, with American football having the largest number of markets available. One of the markets that caught my eye for its activity in this category was “New York Y vs Los Angeles A”.
🗳️ Politics
The “US Presidential Elections Winner 2028” event contract is an example of one of the 66 markets that are available in the Politics event category. Trading volumes are above average here, and you can also trade on parties to control the US Senate and House.
💰 Economics
There wasn’t as much action in this category (going by trading volumes) when I checked. Here, you can trade on topics such as “More tech layoffs in 2026 than 2025”. Other available markets include unemployment figures, interest rates, international central bank decisions, and Fed Decisions.
💻 Crypto
Traders can also trade contracts on the prices of 15+ cryptocurrencies. There were 90+ markets available, including both short-term (5-minute) and medium-term markets such as “Bitcoin Price at the End of 2026”
🌍 Climate
There was only one event contract in this category: “2026 Rank Among Hottest Years on Record”. It also had a decent trading volume of $92,541 at the time of writing.
🎭 Culture
Emmy winners’ predictions were the top market here. There was only one video gaming event contract, so OG currently isn’t a top site for video gaming prediction markets. The trading volume in this section was also decent, with the “Time’s Person of the Year” market having a trading volume of $114,627.
Traders can use multiple payment options
At OG, traders can fund their accounts via ACH transfers, cards, and digital wallets, and deposits are mostly instant. The site doesn’t charge fees for ACH transfers, but there are fees for deposits via digital wallets and cards. Here’s how the fee structure for payment methods works: Google Pay (1.49%), debit cards (1.49%), Venmo (1.99%), Apple Pay (1.49%), and PayPal (1.99%).
Withdrawals are done via ACH transfers or RTP (Real-Time Payment). Payouts via ACH transfers may take up to 5 business days, but RTP withdrawals are typically completed within 24 hours.
There’s 24/7 support available
OG offers support through an exhaustive Help Center that features 60+ articles covering areas such as onboarding, funding, trading activities, and account and security. It only took a couple of seconds to get a response from the site’s AI chatbot after I started a chat with it. The chatbot offered detailed answers to my queries, which made using the site a lot easier.
OG is a regulated site
The site is powered by Crypto.com Derivatives North America, which is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and also designated by the CFTC as a Designated Contract Market (DCM).
OG also supports the one-button block feature and 2-factor authentication (2FA) to keep traders’ data safe. There’s an optional voluntary self-exclusion feature which traders can use to temporarily restrict themselves from trading at the site for a specified period.
Prediction Trading is facilitated through Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA). Foris DAX Inc. and Foris Inc. (d/b/a OG ) provide access to CDNA, a platform regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), allowing users to trade derivatives in accordance with CDNA’s rules and regulations.
Get rewards for inviting friends over
OG features a milestone-based referral program that’s based on the referee’s trading activities within 30 days. The trading milestones are $100, $500, $1,000, and $2,500, and the rewards for each milestone met are equally split between the referrer and the referee and directly sent to their wallets as US credits.
You can visit OG.com for more information. OG’s referral program is somewhat similar to the referral program I found during my Crypto.com review, since both the referrals and referrers get rewards. The main difference is that Crypto.com doesn’t offer referral rewards for prediction markets.
Conclusion – OG isn’t the best site for esports trading
OG is easy to use on PC and has a responsive native app. It offers decent coverage for sports, politics, and culture, among other things that it does right. However, the site is a weak site for esports prediction trading.
For starters, there weren’t many esports markets to trade in. Secondly, four of the five available esports markets covered low-tier events; none were niche events either. The trading volumes of the event contracts were also low, and the market’s liquidity was also thin.
That said, OG is a site where it pays to be right and may be worth checking out. To do so, click on the sponsored banners on this page and follow the prompts to predict today.
OG reviews FAQs
Esports event contracts are settled based on whatever results a tournament organizer declares. If a match is remade, the contract settles on the replayed match as long as it’s played within 48 hours of the initial scheduled start.
No, you don’t need a promo code to activate the site’s welcome bonus or any of its other offers.
Yes, you can. OG is fully optimized for mobile browsers, and you can trade on the go without the native app.
