ENC trying to be the Olympics for gaming?

Sportswear giant Adidas has signed on as the official kit partner for the inaugural Esports Nations Cup (ENC), the Esports Foundation (EF) has announced.

Just like its role in designing national team kits for as many as 26 sponsored national federations in the FIFA World Cup, Adidas will craft custom competition jerseys and tracksuits for every country participating in the ENC 2026.

Adidas will make jerseys for more than 100 countries in the Esports Nations Cup

Set to debut on November 2, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the four-week tournament organized by the Esports Foundation (EF) is set to be the largest nation-based esports competition of its kind.

Under the new multi-year agreement, Adidas will supply custom-designed apparel for more than 100 participating countries and territories. The initiative spans over 2,000 athletes and coaches competing across 16 major competitive gaming titles

Each delegation will receive uniquely tailored national jerseys that will feature design elements from the nation’s heritage as well as its culture.

The collaboration unlocks a new avenue for the esports industry, as apparel partnerships like these, which are commonly seen in all traditional sports, are rare to find. With Adidas stepping in, other apparel brands could join in too.

While sportswear brands have previously sponsored individual esports organizations or single-game regional leagues, outfitting an entire international tournament lineup puts the Esport Nations Cup in the same conversation as the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup.

According to Senior Vice President of Brand Development Phillip Waller, Adidas has spent decades outfitting athletes at the world’s biggest sporting events to build a deep understanding of how jerseys shape identity, belonging, and competition. Through the Esports Nations Cup, the brand is now bringing that experience to a global esports audience.

The official national team jersey designs are scheduled to be revealed incrementally in the coming weeks ahead of the November kickoff, giving fans around the world their first look at their country’s official digital athletic kits.
