Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event: Complete skins and rewards guide

The Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event is now live. This time, we have more than just a crossover, which typically stays limited to cosmetic changes.

On top of interesting skins, Wildcard mode takeover has been introduced to the game, based on the Cyberpunk theme. On the gameplay front, players will explore a host of new additions such as Cyberware Abilities and Cyberpsychosis. We are also getting a new Mythic weapon and many other cool items for free.

Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event dates

This event is going to take place from July 14 until August 4, 2026. The Cyberpunk Collection will be available in the game’s store until August 18. This collaboration is available for PS, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA app.

Wildcard Gets a Night City Makeover

The major game update that has been introduced is the one on the E-District of Wildcard. Everything from holograms to projections in the form of koi fishes are visible. The neon lights around the district are also giving it a Cyberpunk look.

New Cyberware Mods

Apex Legends players can choose between two different options for Cyberware Mods.

Sandevistan

• Allow Dashes in any direction very fast.
• Chains dashes in mid-air.
• Restores shields while using a dash.
• Great escape or forcing the enemies away from oneself.

Blackwall Breach

• Goes into the Net to change locations.
• Causes damage to the shields of the enemy via EMP.
• Enables visibility of the enemy who has been hit by the EMP.
• Great option to initiate combat.

Each time you use a Cyberware power, your Cyberware Capacity increases. Once it hits the maximum point, your Legend goes into Cyberpsychosis.

During the effect duration, the following bonuses apply:

• Faster movement speed
• Bonus melee damage

On the other hand, the following things become unavailable:

• Weapons
• Legend powers
• Shields
• Grenades and other ordinances

In order to lower your Cyberware capacity, you may use Immunoblocker Syringes. To reset it fully, locate Immunoblocker Caches on the map.

The collaboration contains eight Legend skins, featuring characters from Cyberpunk.

All of these are cosmetic skins and do not feature any additional Cyberpunk Legends that can be played as.

There are also eight weapon skins included for the Wingman, Charge Rifle, Mastiff, L-STAR, P2020, RE-45, R-301, and Kraber.

Mythic Skippy Alternator

One of the coolest things about the cross over is the Mythic Skippy Alternator. This is the talking gun from Cyberpunk 2077 and comes with two different skins based on the two Apex Legends characters of Skippy: the Puppy Loving Pacifist and the Stone Cold Killer, with unique dialogue.

Exotic Shards can also be used to level up the Mythic skin with more effects and extra finishers. There are also pre-orders outside of the game for Nessie Youtooz plushies with the themes of Lucy and Rebecca until August 18.

How to earn free rewards in the Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event

Players are awarded for completing the event challenge. They can be used to purchase items from the Reward Shop, where the items keep changing according to the progression of the event.

The reward shop will refresh the items at the start of the event, then at certain intervals during the event period. Do remember to visit the store often enough during this time so you don’t miss out on grabbing any time-limited items.
