Black Flag - Ubisoft Barcelona Workers Begin Three-Day Strike Over 51 Layoffs

Basically, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has been a massive success, but Ubisoft is still laying off 51 people at its Barcelona studio.
The developers are understandably furious, especially since they’ve just helped deliver a hit game, so they’ve started a three-day strike from July 14 to 16 to protest the cuts and demand better job protection.
It’s one of those situations where the game performs well, but the people who made it still end up losing their jobs.
At this point, why starting a career in the industry at all??
