Esports World Cup LoL predictions
T1 of course the obvious outright favourite, but at a short price I’m not sure they’re the best bet. Hanwha Life Esports just won MSI, Bilibili Gaming won First Stand and both teams have shown more recent international form.
The group stage is probably where the value will be. Opening matches are Bo1, so there’s much more upset potential before the elimination series switch in Bo3 mode.
My early leans right now:
-Outright: T1, but BLG/HLE if the odds are significantly better
-Group stage: Gen.G over KC and BLG over KOI
-Possible upset: Sentinels over Team Secret << depending on the price
Definitely waiting to see the actual odds before putting anything down. Anyone already spotted a value pick? (I normally use Thunderpick here)
