Should I always bet on the favorites?
Overall, I've had mediocre success with my bets yet I'm an avid esports fan. I follow lol esports (particularly the LCS, some hilarious plays there) and Marvel Rivals so I always place some weird or interesting bets. However, lately I've been thinking of just making a bet slip with 3 bets on the favorites. Won't be large winnings probably but this should mean higher chances of success, no?

Betting on the favorites is a nice safe call so long as you know what teams are volatile, to avoid losing all your profits on a single upset.
I don't follow Marvel Rivals, but for examples for the LCS:
- C9 often are favorites, but with their new roster, I wouldn't bet on them. I'll also never trust them in the playoffs.
- I would also avoid Lyon until Inspired comes back.
- I wouldn't trust FLY against SEN.
Otherwise, Lyon and TL are good value picks against anyone from the bottom 4.
Or in the LEC, the top 6 teams almost always win against the bot 4.
So I'd say it's a safe strat so long as you watch out for matches with high chances of upsets!
