T1 are qualified for Worlds 2026
Gen.G’s win over KT guarantees T1 a top-4 finish and a spot at Worlds.
That also means Faker is heading back to Worlds, right after winning South Korea’s Sports Player of the Year for the second straight year.

This will be interesting. T1 had never finished below the top 4 of any international until 2026. And now this year they didn't even lose to a better Korean or Chinese team at MSI, they lost to G2.
So I'm curious to see whether 2026 will break their streak or if they're gonna do their T1 Worlds BS magic again. They've had many close calls in previous years, too (remember 2017? after two years of winning Worlds in a row, they came 90 Trundle HP away from losing 3-1 to Misfits)
