Last week, DK and KT looked like they were the new kings of the LCK. Now, it appears that there simply is no king in that league, and everyone brawls on even footing instead.

Every single team in the Legend Group has had at least one match of greatness, and one where they’ve looked very underwhelming. In the case of today’s contenders, they’ve shown both in their last encounter.

KT won the first game as they first picked Olaf and DK responded exclusively with champions that were powerless against him. The round was a game-wide stomp originating from the draft.

DK then fought back in a game that looked close only because they were looking to scale. KT accomplished nothing while they reached their goal, and so the game was over as they didn’t bring a game plan alongside their draft. Afterwards, DK rounded it out with an explosive game 3.

So, what does that mean for the next match? Logically, Dplus KIA should have learned to not repeat what they did in the first round, as it was a simple draft matter. As for KT, failing in the game plan is a more complex affair.

Additionally, KT Rolster may have hit the end of their honeymoon phase with Park “FenRir” Kang-jun. This makes two series in a row that they lost with their bot lane being outclassed, while DK’s is just fine.
