Fortnitemares will bring new Fortnite Halloween skins, here’s what we know

With Epic Games’ annual Fortnitemares event so close, fans want to know which Fortnite Halloween skins they will see in the battle royale this year.

Epic Games goes all out with its collaborations with trendy IPs in Fortnite and this new “Marvel” season is no different. From the overpowered Ultra Doom mythic to the popular Black Cat, Epic has left no stone unturned. Now that October is close, there is chatter about the annual Fortnitemares event. There is no official confirmation about the event. However, Fortnite has hosted the Halloween event since 2017 so it is likely that fans will see it in 2024.

Leaks about the event have fans excited, and they want to know which Fortnite Halloween skins they’ll get to see.

Which new Fortnite Halloween skins are coming?

Epic Games hasn’t officially confirmed the event and the items it will bring but data miners have shared details about some of the new Halloween skins that might come to Fortnite.

Epic tries to play things close to the chest and is trying to avoid alerting fans about the Fortnitemares event. However, data miners and leakers have shared much information with fans about the event, and what it might contain.

One of the first Fortnite Halloween skins that is rumored to be a part of the Fortnitemares event is Anti-Venom. Data miner HypeX shared the news with fans on X that the Anti-Venom skin might come to the battle royale. It is important to note that Anti-Venom isn’t usually associated with Halloween. However, the third installment in Sony’s Venom franchise comes out at the end of October. The Anti-Venom skin might be part a Fortnite x Venom collaboration instead of a Fortnitemares skin.

HypeX leaked the addition of Jason, the main character of Friday the 13th being added to the game. The official Jason Universe X account also replied to Fortnite fans hinting at a collaboration. It is likely that the Jason skin might release in October with the Fortnitemares update.

On September 17, the Fortnite 31.20 update was released, and data miner Xgamer360 shared a screenshot of a new Fortnite Halloween skin in the files. According to the leaker’s image, a Fortnite X Saw collaboration is planned for the Fortnitemares event.

The release date of the Fortnitemares event is unknown at the time of writing. However, according to leakers the new Fortnite Halloween skins will drop on October 15. The event will likely last for two weeks based on previous years and players will get many new items in the game.
