How to get the new OP Ultra Doom skin in Fortnite

Fortnite Season 4’s new update brought many changes and additions, including a new island and a powerful Ultra Doom skin.

Fortnite’s “Marvel” season has added many new weapons and skins and, true to its name, most of the additions are from the Marvel Universe. Epic Games released a new update on September 4 that brought more goodies for fans including mythics, skins, and more. While data miners had already leaked Black Cat’s appearance, the new update has many other surprises for fans.

Fortnite has undergone some map changes introducing the Isle of Doom. However, the island is so rare fans may miss it and lose out on the OP Ultra Doom skin.

How to access the Isle of Doom and get the Ultra Doom Fortnite skin

The Isle of Doom in Fortnite spawns randomly with a 5-10% chance, players need to conquer it to unlock the Ultra Doom Fortnite skin.

The location of the Isle of Doom is marked on the in-game map. However, this only happens if the island spawns during a Battle Royale match. To access the island players simply need to follow the marker hastily. Competing players will also head to the island to conquer it and get the Ultra Doom mythic so reaching it first is best.

Head to the center of the island to reach Doom’s Cauldron. The objective is to be in the area surrounding the cauldron until the progress bar runs out. If successful the Ultra Doom mythic will spawn and can be claimed.

Claiming the Ultra Doom Armor will turn the player into Doom’s chosen and all the items in the player’s inventory will be dropped. While this is a shame, the Ultra Doom Armor is worth it and is more powerful than players may want.

Is the Ultra Doom Armor OP?

The Ultra Doom Armor mythic in Fortnite is OP due to its boosted stats and powerful abilities.

The Ultra Doom Armor turns the player into Doom’s chosen and with that gives players the powers of Doom. Players are granted 500 health and shield, as well as the ability to fly and land powerful hits on opponents.

These stats make the armor powerful, but this isn’t the first OP weapon or armor this season. Captain America’s shield was also OP, and Epic Games finally nerfed it after complaints from players. The Ultra Doom Armor might see the same fate as War Machine’s hover jets, which were similarly nerfed due to being OP.
