How to steal rounds with this broken Omen Viper glitch

A new Omen and Viper glitch is making waves online for being absolutely broken, and here’s how to pull it off.

Sure, Omen and Viper share a lot of history in the Valorant lore, but their toolkit always clashed in the game. Except on Haven when running a double smoker setup, picking both Omen and Viper is not exactly a stellar strategy. However, a new helpful glitch is causing players to pick the duo on maps with larger sky openings.

With a spicy new piece of tech, Omen can propel himself to the sky, hide inside his smoke, and gather information from a non-existent vantage point. This happens when Viper tosses her smoke gadget into the air, creating a solid playable area in the void for Omen.

This broken Omen and Viper glitch is a must-try

While we’re not sure if this Omen and Viper interaction is a glitch or an intended mechanic, it’s safe to assume that it’s not intentional unless Riot gives the final verdict.

Valorant has a certain playable area for agents, but abilities have no bounds. With that in mind, what if a teleporting agent teleports into an existing ability in a non-reachable but playable area? When Viper shoots her orb into the sky, at a certain point, it creates a range where Omen can throw his smoke. Finding that range is tricky, and Omen must keep his crosshair locked on Viper’s orb to release a smoke as soon as possible.

Upon activating the smoke, Omen must quickly teleport into his other ability and gain brief air control. This tech is useful on maps like Pearl, Ascent, Haven, and more. Using this helpful glitch, players may be able to gain intel, discover tricky spike spots, or just spook the enemies.

However, there are certain downsides of this tech. Firstly, it can only be done once per round since Viper can’t pick up her smoke, so players must pre-plan a good spot and use it intelligently. Secondly, after executing this tech, Viper’s smoke becomes almost useless, especially if it’s dropped on a random spot that’s not even an entrance.

Players who have an open-minded Viper on their team who is willing to sacrifice their pricey smoke may try this in their casual games.
