CS jkaem benched gambling

CS2 pro Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad was recently accused of gambling away Counter-Strike skins that had been loaned to him, and now BC.Game has sent the pro player to the bench and an uncertain future.

A professional Counter-Striker 2 player from Norway, jkaem has been praised for his aim and general Counter-Strike skills many times. The footballer-turned-CS player was last playing for BC.Game as a rifler, but it looks like his career in the team, and perhaps as a professional CS2 player, is now in doubt.

In March, news surfaced that jkaem borrowed CS skins from a skin trader and gambling them away. jkaem accepted the accusations, which led to much uproar within the community. It looked like BC.Games was supporting the player in making things right, but more accusations against jkaem have since come in, and BC.Game has now announced that the team has moved jkaem to its inactive roster.

kssad claims jkaem owes $300,000 to various people

Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović tweeted that jkaem owes several people money to the tune of $300,00 and accused BC.Game management of promising to pay him back before later going back on their word.

Skin trader erlsan previously accused jkaem of owning him approximately $11,000 after he loaned the CS player skins during the Paris Major. When jkaem admitted that erlsan’s allegation was true, he also stated that he owed more people money and would pay them back. BC.Game also offered the player support and stated he’d repay everyone back in due time.

In a turn of events, kssad stated in a series of since-deleted tweets that jkaem owes more than $300,000 to multiple people. He claims that amount includes $50,000 that kassad himself is owed. kassad alleged he didn’t directly loan money to jkaem and instead had paid the CS player’s loan amount that was owed to another notable name in the Counter-Strike scene, Owen “smooya” Butterfield.

kassad went on to claim that BC.Game had promised the money would be repaid but that he’s still owed those funds today. This is likely why the former professional CS player tweeted and made the whole issue public. While he has since deleted those tweets, these accusations may have been enough for BC.Game to bench jkaem in an attempt to move itself further away from the ongoing drama.

The organization has tweeted the news of removing jkaem from its roster. The announcement stated that the decision was mutual and the move would allow the team and jkaem to focus on what’s important for him personally. BC.Game ended the announcement by stating the team is now searching for a stand-in for its roster at the upcoming IEM Dallas tournament.
