Sanchioves Twitch ban

Twitch has banned Karim “Sanchovies” Dodson for the fourth time and fans are wondering what the streamer did this time.

Sanchovies is a League of Legends esports player and streamer. The Canadian streamer started his streaming career by playing the MOBA and Sanchovies has played for YASS, TRIC, and more recently PMG.  The streamer is known for his controversial remarks like calling “Americans fat pieces of bacon,” on his stream. Due to this, he has been banned multiple times from the streaming platform Twitch.

Now, Sanchovies has been banned for the fourth time from Twitch and fans want to know what he did.

Sanchovies banned from Twitch for the fourth time

Twitch has banned the League of Legends player and streamer Sanchovies for inciting violence against someone on stream.

Twitch didn’t share the official reason for banning Sanchovies from the platform. However, Sanchovies replied to an X user when questioned about his ban. The streamer stated that Twitch banned him from the platform for telling “some guy in my unban requests to off himself.”

Promoting violence is against Twitch’s rules so it’s logical the streamer would be banned for this reason. Twitch is especially cracking down on offenders and has banned many streamers such as FaZe’s Rani “StableRonaldo” Netz and the recently unbanned controversial Nicolas “Sneako” De Balinthazy.

However, this isn’t the first time Sanchovies has been banned from Twitch. The streamer was last banned in 2022, and he shared the two possible reasons why his channel was banned. However, it looks like the streamer has learned nothing from his previous bans.

Is Sanchovies’ ban permanent?

Sanchovies’ fourth Twitch ban is not permanent and will be back on Twitch.

Twitch’s terms of service state that the platform has a zero-tolerance policy for violence and offenders will be suspended indefinitely. However, Sanchovies’ channel shows that it was only suspended for a certain duration. This is weird as the streamer himself confirmed that he committed the offence.

How long the channel remains suspended depends on how severe Twitch considers Sanchovies’ offense. However, it’s likely the streamer will remain banned for seven to 30 days. If Sanchovies continues to break rules then his channel might be permanently banned in the future.
