Aurora Gaming and G2 meet again on 3 November, nine days after Aurora won their Bucharest group-stage encounter 2-0. That result forms part of a sharp contrast in recent form: Aurora have won six of their last 10 matches, while G2 have won two and enter this meeting on a five-match losing streak.

Both teams dropped into Beijing Group B’s lower bracket after losing their upper-bracket quarterfinals on 2 November.
