BNK FEARX vs KT Rolster at Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026 Playoffs, CN

Both teams in this match have struggled to get there during the Demacia Cup Global Invitational quarterfinals. KT Rolster and BNK FearX were each expected to stomp their quarterfinal opponent.

KT is a top five LCK team that spent the entire year going toe-to-toe with the top four. The team went up against Vitality, the LEC representative that can only perform during the regular season.

Expected to win 3-0, KT instead started by going down 0-2. Then, they achieved a reverse sweep. Even then, victory was anything but assured until the end. In game 5, Vitality was up a Soul and Baron, and somehow lost a teamfight and the game from that point.

As for BFX, they faced a JD Gaming that was lacking two of their players. Participating in the Asian Games, JDG’s jungler and mid laner could not participate in the Demacia Cup at the same time.

Despite being an individually talented line-up, the LPL representative clearly lacked synergy with its roster for the event. Still, they also took BFX to five games and nearly knocked them out of the event. Now, KT and BFX meet in the semifinal, with neither team looking convincing anymore.
