MWI 2026 Knockout Stage: Natus Vincere and Team Vitality punch their way to final

After four days of action at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2026, Natus Vincere and Team Vitality are set to compete for the title and the lion’s share of the prize pool in the grand final.

Both teams entered the grand final with different routes. Vitality, as expected, were the dominant roster, advancing to the grand final after convincing wins in the group stage and the knockout stage.

This included a quarterfinals showdown with home rivals, Falcons Vega. Falcons finished third to fourth in the previous edition, and were one of the favorites to make it to the grand final.

However, after a shocking loss in the group stage to China’s SAETA, they had to take the lower bracket path to the knockout stage and face off against Vitality. They lost this match 2–1.

Natus Vincere, on the other hand, were placed in group B, in the same group as Team Vitality. However, they lost their first MWI 2026 group stage game to Galaxy Phoenix 2–0 and found themselves in the lower bracket.

Here, they faced the Burmese powerhouse roster of Falcon Daisies. The best-of-three series opened with a convincing win for Falcon Daisies, as they closed the game in under 16 minutes.

At this point, it looked like a comeback for Natus Vincere would be extremely tough. However, that is exactly what they did. A reverse sweep across two really tough games saw them advance forward.

In the Knockout Stage, Natus Vincere once again faced Galaxy Phoenix, the team that almost knocked them out of the competition and had already beaten them once.

However, Natus Vincere weren’t going to let that be repeated. They came into the best-of-five series with a point to prove and got revenge with a convincing 3–0 win.
