Western Esports fans follow all big tournaments across different titles, especially when the prize pool is impressive. However, there is an event called the King Pro League Grand Final 2026, with a $10.4M prize, which will most likely attract just a few Westerners. Let’s learn more about it.

The King Pro League Grand Final 2026 is the most important tournament in the Honor of Kings. This title is extremely popular in Asia, especially in China, but it doesn’t have the same popularity in the Western world.
As a result, many people have no idea that there is a $10M+ prize pool esports event, making it one of the largest ever awarded. What’s even more interesting is that there will also be a special concert.
Regarding the competition itself, it will start with the Challenge Stage, where all teams are split into two groups. Those in 1st-6th place advance to the Master Group, while the rest go to the Elite Group.
The top 4 teams from the Master Group will advance to the Knockout Stage, while the 5th and 6th teams will advance to the Play-In Stage.
In the Elite Group, the winner will advance to the Knockout Stage, while the 2nd- to 5th-placed teams will advance to the play-in stage. Those at the bottom will be eliminated.
The Play-In Stage will have 5 teams in a single-elimination series and the 3 winners will advance to the Knockout Stage. This is where we will see a total of 8 teams before the Grand Finals.
Prize Pool & Where to Watch
The total prize pool for the King Pro League Grand Final 2026 is currently sitting at $10.4m. Players wishing to watch the biggest Honor of King competition can do so in Chengdu, Changsha and Guangzhou. There will also be live streams in Chinese and English, so make sure to tune in.
The streams will welcome as many people as the M World Championship in Mobile Legends.
Western Community Reaction
As someone who’s not actively following the professional HoK scene, the King Pro League Grand Final 2026 caught me off guard with its prize pool. I know that the scale of the game is huge in China, but most people have no idea it’s that big. In fact, we can safely say that Honor of Kings is on the same level as League of Legends, CS2 and Dota 2 in that part of the world.
The Challenger & Play-In Stages will be held at the Guangzhou Gymnasium, an indoor arena with a capacity of 10,000 people. Those interested in the Knockout Stage can follow it in the “Colorful Boxes” Program Production Center in Changsha.
Lastly, the Grand Finals (on November 14, 2026) will be at the Chengdu Phoenix Hill Sports Park Gymnasium in Chengdu. It’s a huge sports complex that can seat up to 50,695 people in a football game.
