Starting on August 13, The International 2026 will allow us to watch the 16 leading Dota 2 teams from all regions. The competition will end on August 23 with one of them lifting the Aegis, but which one will it be? Well, we are about to focus on our The International 2026 power rankings to try and find out.

There are a couple of teams that are in an excellent position to win, but TI is hard to predict, which is what makes it so special. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at how each Dota 2 team stands before the event begins.

1. PARIVISION (TEAM VISION)

Of all 16 TI15 teams, this is the one most people will be looking forward to. PARIVISION enters The International 2026 as the big favorite, especially after winning the Esports World Cup 2026. It is most bookies’ favorite and for a good reason.

2. BetBoom Team (BoomBoys)

BetBoom Team has been one of the Tier 1 Dota 2 powerhouses for some time now. The squad already won the PGL Wallachia Season 8 and finished second at the Esports World Cup 2026.

Considering all of that, it’s no surprise that it deserves a high spot on our TI15 power rankings list. BB Team has not lifted the Aegis so far, and we believe it has an excellent chance of doing so.

3. Team Falcons

Team Falcons is among the most interesting teams at The International 2026 because it’s the current champion. Yes, 2026 has not been as good as 2025, but the squad will try to be the second name ever to be a back-to-back champion.

4. Team Yandex

Winning PGL Wallachia S7 & BLAST SLAM VI puts Team Yandex really high in the current Dota 2 team rankings in 2026. It’s definitely one of the squads you should pay close attention to

5. Aurora Gaming

Aurora Gaming is one of the more interesting teams at the Dota 2 TI 2026 competition. The CIS powerhouse consists of several big names, like Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko, and has had consistent results since 2023.

Even though it only won one event so far (FISSURE Universe: Episode 8), the squad finished second in three Tier 1 events after that. No wonder people looking at the Dota 2 betting sites may decide to back this team as one of the potential winners.

6. Xtreme Gaming

This is China’s pride and joy in Dota 2 and the only team capable of rivaling the best from the West. Xtreme Gaming reached the Grand Final last year, so it’s no surprise that some TI15 predictions say it will do it again.

7. Team Spirit

Arguably the best team in the world in 2025, Team Spirit has not had the same success this year. Nevertheless, it’s one of the most experienced and dangerous teams that have proven it can upset even the biggest favorites.

8. Team Liquid

Historically, Team Liquid has been one of the best at The International. Considering its victory at BLAST SLAM VI earlier this year, it is one of the more serious contenders for The International 2026.

9. 1w Team (Iron Wing)

Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko and his crew are looking to step up their game on the Tier 1 Dota 2 scene. The squad formed just two months ago, and this will be its first big challenge. It definitely has the firepower to bring down some of the tournament’s favorites.

10. Vici Gaming

Vici is one of the TI15 teams that players will follow closely because it has many big stars. It’s one of China’s oldest and most respected Dota 2 organizations, so we can’t wait to see how it performs.

11. Nigma Galaxy

After successfully qualifying for TI15, Nigma will now have to prove it still has what it takes. The team has an interesting mixture of players that we can’t wait to see in action.

12. L1GA TEAM (HULIGANI)

L1GA Team is definitely not one of the TI15 tournament favorites because this will be one of their first big Tier 1 events. Fans will be very interested to see if the squad has the firepower to go up against the best in the world.

13. Team Resilience

The Chinese squad that made it through the qualifiers is an interesting mix of old-school names like Lin “planet” Hao and up-and-coming stars like Li “niu” Kongbo. It has already taken down some of the best in China, so it’s interesting to follow its progress.

14. OG

The Filipino OG squad had no issues in the SEA TI15 qualifiers and will now have to prove themselves on the big stage. The players must live up to OG’s reputation, as it is the only organization to win TI twice in a row.

15. GamerLegion

The only NA representative comes into TI15 as one of the big underdogs. Led by Daniel “Ghost” Chan, GamerLegion will have a tough time dealing with the best from all other regions.

16. LGD Gaming

South America’s finest Dota 2 team right now will play under the legendary LGD banner, an organization with a rich tradition in Dota 2. Will it live up to the expectations? We are yet to see.
