EMEA Masters Summer 2026 Swiss Stage

The EMEA Masters is the final stage of the European tier 2 competition. The best teams from all European Regional Leagues (ERLs) meet on this stage once a split. For the most part, this tournament has been dominated by French teams, except during Los Ratones’ time in the league.

The EMEA Masters is entering its 20th edition in Summer 2026. Unfortunately, it has lost its newfound stakes. At the start of 2026, Riot Games made it so that success in EMEA Masters would give an entry into the LEC Versus. This only applied to one year, as it really was just a way to allow Los Ratones on the big stage rather than a way to give higher incentives to tier 2 players and teams.

In this edition, the top three teams from the ERLs don’t participate in the Swiss Stage as they’re currently playing in the World Star Challengers Invitational. Instead, they’ll meet the 14th to 16th place finishers to compete over the three remaining playoff spots.
