All the rewards from Apex Legends Winter’s Haunt 2024

Winter is coming, and so is the limited time Apex Legends Winter’s Haunt event with new bone-chilling rewards up for grabs.

Battle royale game Apex Legends may have a dropping player count, but that won’t stop it from offering cool seasonal events and rewards. Winter’s Haunt joins a long tradition of December events where players can try out limited-time modes and collect exclusive skins. It’s a great gift to loyal fans and a great way to celebrate the holidays. This year has a brand new set of cosmetics that can only be obtained during Winter’s Haunt.

Here are the coolest rewards available during the 2024 Apex Winter’s Haunt event and every way players can get them.

Cosmetics available during the Winter’s Haunt event

Apex Winter’s Haunt offers a vast number of rewards that players can get either through winning or collecting a new temporary currency.

Much of the rewards seem to be based around and dependent on the returning limited time mode, Winter Express. With three squads on a train, the object is to either be the last team standing or take control of the train. Unlike previous years, the mode now allows all legends and weapons.

By winning matches, players gain access to an exclusive themed set of cosmetics. These include legendary character and weapon skins, with a number of rewards still remaining to be seen. Currently known items available include the following.

  • Dollface Ash
  • Alabaster Baron Ballistic
  • Bear Arms Bangalore
  • Hell Hundr Bloodhound
  • Cold Explosives Fuse
  • Bear-iccade Rampart
  • Winter’s Bane Bloodhound heirloom
  • Attunement Hemlock skin

Apex is encouraging players to collect as many items as possible by offering milestone rewards. At a certain number of cosmetics received, players will receive additional items like heirloom shards.

In addition to the main rewards, players can also get themed items in the seasonal Reward Shop. By completing daily challenges, they can earn ice gems up to a maximum of 15,000 by the end of the event. These can then be redeemed for items like a new Valkyrie skin or the Triple Take. Players can also earn special badges based on how many gems they collect. Importantly, the shop will rotate halfway through the event to offer a new set of rewards.

Other ways to get Winter’s Haunt rewards

There are faster ways of collecting all of the limited-time Winter’s Haunt rewards for those who have the coin to spare.

Players who don’t want to grind for items can take an easy shortcut. Apex is offering Winter’s Haunt Event “Packst,” each one containing one random event item and two standard event items. While players are guaranteed not to get duplicates, that still means purchasing 30 different packs to collect all the Winter’s Haunt rewards. No price has been confirmed yet, but event packs usually run for around 700 Apex coins, or $7.

Those looking to just get individual skins quickly can buy them directly in the Event Store. A special collection of Winter’s Haunts skins are available for 1,800 Apex coins, or $18. Though they cost more than they would in event packs, purchasing the skins in stores offers more certainty.

Winter’s Haunt goes live on December 17. While no end date has been stated yet, the Rewards Shop graphic in the official press release lists that there are 20 days left. This puts the last day for players to get all of their Winter’s Haunt rewards around January 5, 2025.
