The two semi-final favorites got the job done and will now be facing each other, as G2 take on Legacy in the FISSURE Playground 3 Grand Final. Will Legacy lift their second trophy in China this year, or will G2’s off-season roster change pay off so early into the season? Here’s our FISSURE Playground 3 Grand Final CS2 betting preview.

Most CS2 fans were scratching their heads when G2 replaced Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia with Artem “r1nkle” Moroz in the summer break. However, it seems like there is a method behind the madness, with G2 playing their best CS2 this year at FISSURE Playground 3. Although it has to be said that they didn’t exactly cruise to the Grand Final. 16 hard-fought maps is what it took to be in the position to fight for the trophy and the $300,000 main prize.

Surprisingly, G2’s main firepower outlet at this event has been Guy “NertZ” Iluz. The Israeli rifler has struggled to find his mojo ever since joining Team Liquid back in January 2025. Reuniting with his former ENCE coach Eetu “sAw” Saha hasn’t improved his performance until now, but finally things are starting to click. If NertZ can become the consistent second star alongside Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko, then G2 could enter the title-contending conversation in the near future.

Legacy look like the best Brazilian CS2 team in the world right now, and that’s including FURIA. The CAC 2026 winners found new life in the second half of the year with the addition of Santino “try” Rigal in place of their former AWPer Guilherme “saadzin” Pacheco. Everyone is doing their jobs perfectly, as evidenced by their undefeated status at FISSURE Playground 3. It seems as though China is becoming home turf for the Brazilian squad.

Their last BO5 Grand Final also took place in China during the CS Asia Championships 2026. Legacy faced Falcons shortly after the Saudi super team brought in Finn “karrigan” Andersen from FaZe Clan. Seemingly outgunned on paper, the Brazilians brought the heat and defeated the subsequent Major Champions 3-1, largely thanks to a monster performance from Bruno “latto” Rebelatto. Let’s see if he can replicate that form against G2.

CS2 odds narrowly favor Legacy to take home the FISSURE Playground 3 trophy. This event is the perfect stepping stone for both teams to get into the contender category. Whoever wins the Grand Final on the stage will gain heaps of confidence coming into upcoming CS2 events, before the Major cut-off date (November 2nd). We think it will be Legacy to make it over the line in this matchup, though realistically, it could go either way.
