To begin by addressing the elephant in the room, the current top lane situation for BLG is unknown. Bilibili Gaming has recruited Anyone’s Legend’s former top laner Li “Flandre” Xuan-Jun, while still having their new recruit Yang “Wenbo” Wen-Bo.

At the same time, Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin is still part of the team, and he supposedly is still only taking a break. This will be BLG’s first series since Flandre joined, so it’s uncertain how they’re going to approach their roster or which top laner will play against JDG.

Theoretically, Flandre is able to bring a direction to the team in the later stages of the games. Which is precisely an area that BLG is lacking in. However, it likely won’t go as well while the team hasn’t built its synergy yet. Plus, it’s not even certain that Flandre will be the one starting tomorrow.

At the start of the year, JD Gaming was able to find wins against Bilibili Gaming by being better at teamfighting. These were JDG’s signature strength while also being a weakness of BLG. Then, the LPL champions figured out a way to simply win against them while avoiding those fights, and the match-up has been one-sided ever since.

However, BLG lost against Top Esports last week by going back to these old ways. Despite getting a massive lead, they just kept on losing every teamfight. Maybe this is finally JDG’s time to get their revenge the same way.

That said, it’s unlikely. JD Gaming hasn’t had a good Split 3 so far, and they’re still 0-3 against the top three. While they have reasons to hope, the odds favor BLG.
