Top Esports stops Bilibili Gaming’s undefeated LPL split 3

Top Esports has just beaten the formerly undefeated Bilibili Gaming to close out the first half of the LPL Split 3’s regular season. With that victory, TES takes over BLG’s first place as both teams are now at 6-1. After a very hectic match, regional Top Esports is truly back.

Top Esports beats Bilibili Gaming 2-0

BLG started off the first game as a stomp. Multiple solo kills, better fights, better roams, Bilibili Gaming reached a gargantuan lead of 9k gold and a Baron buff at 21 minutes.

Then, BLG’s old demons struck once more. Somehow, Top Esports went on to win every single fight from that position. Most of them were slight wins, but the gold lead dwindled slowly but surely. Nine full-on teamfights later, Top Esports won the first game with a total of 65 kills in 40 minutes.

The second game wasn’t as cinematic, albeit just as impressive from them. TES blind picked Olaf that BLG exclusively took weak champions against, and Gao “Tian” Tian-Liang kept finding plays on Lee Sin. This map was simply a stomp from Top Esports, and they didn’t give their opponent a way back into the game.

For a long time, BLG won through better laning and map movements, but struggled in teamfights. In 2026, it looked like that weakness was behind them – or that they were too strong individually for it to matter. Ultimately, this series proved that this crack remains wide open in their armor.

Top Esports claims first place in the LPL

At the start of Split 3, while BLG was one of the best teams in the world, Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin benched himself, unhappy with his performance. Unexpectedly, Bilibili Gaming remained just as strong and went 6-0 in the LPL, beating every opponent they met.

At the same time, most of the competition faltered. Invictus Gaming went down to Group Nirvana, JD Gaming is nowhere to be seen, Anyone’s Legend has no consistency, and Top Esports was disastrous at MSI.

However, TES has a long-standing habit of displaying exceptional performances regionally before fully dropping the ball at the upcoming international. To date, this has always kept going that way. Regionally, they’re around the top or even first seed. Then internationally, they will fully crumble at one point and never reach any final.

TES now has a tied match score at 6-1 and a higher game score than BLG. As such, they end the first-round robin in first place above them. Judging by everyone’s power level, there’s a real chance they represent the LPL as the first seed at the 2026 World Championship. If that happens, there is no doubt that history will once again repeat itself.
