LEC 2026 Summer Split power rankings: G2's titles

In Spring, the LEC rode the high of G2 Esports beating BNK FearX and Gen.G at First Stand. In Summer, Karmine Corp and them proved that it wasn’t just a fluke. Some of the best teams in the world will compete in the LEC to claim Europe’s three spots at the 2026 World Championship, but who will win? Here’s our LEC 2026 Summer Split power rankings.

10) Shifters

  • Top: Shin “Rooster” Yun-hwan
  • Jungle: Mehdi “Boukada” Lahlou / Théo “Sheo” Borile
  • Mid: Ilias “nuc” Bizriken
  • Bot: Park “Paduck” Seok-hyeon
  • Support: Paul “Stend” Lardin
  • Head Coach: Yanis “Striker” Kella

In Spring, we asked whether Shifters’ roster could exceed the expectations if it ended up meshing well. Shortly after, it turned out that the answer was a simple no. SHFT has yet to show a reason to believe in them.

9) Team Heretics

LEC 2026 Summer Split power rankings: TH

  • Top: Sebastian “Tracyn” Wojtoń
  • Jungle: Kacper “Daglas” Dagiel
  • Mid: Tolga “Serin” Ölmez
  • Bot: Byeon “Hype” Jeong-hyeon
  • Support: Han “Way” Gil
  • Head Coach: Erlend “Nukeduck” Våtevik Holm

In a similar spot to Shifters, Team Heretics didn’t show anything convincing in Spring. Only beating SK last split, TH never posed a serious threat to any team in the top six.

In Summer, Heretics is fielding a new jungler and ADC, and Paul “sOAZ” Boyer is joining them as a positional coach. While sOAZ could shake things up, the gap with the top six remains too large.

8) SK Gaming

  • Top: Martin “Wunder” Hansen
  • Jungle: Duncan “Skeanz” Marquet
  • Mid: Seo “SlowQ” Ye-bit
  • Bot: Josip “Jopa” Čančar
  • Support: Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle
  • Head Coach: David “OWN3R” Rodriguez de la Torre

The bottom three in the power rankings are fully interchangeable. In Spring, they got a combined four wins, and the expectations remain the same for Summer. At such low numbers, the order can change easily and is also fully irrelevant.

Since Spring, SK replaced their mid laner. Considering how Adam “LIDER” Ilyasov turned out to be detrimental, this could perhaps even help them claim one more win. However, they realistically shouldn’t go above that.

7) Natus Vincere

LEC 2026 Summer Split power rankings: NAVI

Is NAVI a top six team? Image credit: Wojciech Wandzel / Riot Games

  • Top: Volodymyr “Maynter” Sorokin
  • Jungle: Enes “Rhilech” Uçan
  • Mid: Yoon “Poby” Sung-won
  • Bot: Lee “SamD” Jae-hoon
  • Support: Polat “Parus” Furkan Çiçek
  • Head Coach: Vasilis “TheRock” Voltis

NAVI doesn’t belong in the bottom four, and it might be fairer to place them higher. Natus Vincere is definitely a step above the bottom three teams, but they’re part of the second batch of LEC teams – the ones that will neither lose against the bottom, nor compete against the trifecta at the top.

6) Fnatic

LEC 2026 Summer Split power rankings: FNC

  • Top: Lim “Soboro” Seong-min
  • Jungle: Iván “Razork” Martín Díaz
  • Mid: Vladimiros “Vladi” Kourtidis
  • Bot: Elias “Upset” Lipp
  • Support: Park “Lospa” Joon-hyeong
  • Head Coach: Fabian “GrabbZ” Lohmann

On the other hand, Fnatic should place lower were it not for their history – call it hope or delusion. So far, FNC has shown nothing good all year long. Once, they scraped by into the playoffs only to roll over and lose; the other time, they fell before that. Worse, the organisation doesn’t seem like it has a plan.

The only reason why they’re in sixth instead of seventh is their individual talent. Then, maybe having a new top laner will push them forward.

5) GIANTX

LEC 2026 Summer Split power rankings: GX

  • Top: Óscar “Oscarinin” Muñoz Jiménez
  • Jungle: Ismaïl “ISMA” Boualem
  • Mid: Adam “Jackies” Jeřábek
  • Bot: Víctor “Flakked” Lirola Tortosa
  • Support: Yoon “Jun” Se-jun
  • Head Coach: André “Guilhoto” Pereira Guilhoto

GIANTX is a perfect middle-of-the-pack team. The bottom teams can’t reach them, and they can win against the top. However, they’ve always lacked the consistency to beat them in the playoffs. Replacing their top and bot with Oscarinin and Flakked won’t change that either.

4) Team Vitality

LEC 2026 Summer Split power rankings: VIT

  • Top: Kaan “Naak Nako” Okan
  • Jungle: Linas “Lyncas” Nauncikas
  • Mid: An “FIESTA” Hyeon-seo
  • Bot: Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság
  • Support: Kadir “Fleshy” Kemiksiz
  • Head Coach: Patrick “Pad” Suckow-Breum

Team Vitality gives the same false hopes every time, to the point where they’re no longer believable. VIT regularly has a great regular season, but they never manage to perform in the playoffs. The League of Legends betting odds should reflect that.

No matter the split or the roster, they’ve never crossed a 50% win rate at any playoffs, and we’re past hoping it changes.

3) Movistar KOI

LEC 2026 Summer Split power rankings: MKOI

Can MKOI challenge G2 and KC again? Image credit: Wojciech Wandzel / Riot Games

  • Top: Alex “Myrwn” Pastor Villarejo
  • Jungle: Javier “Elyoya” Prades Batalla
  • Mid: Joseph Joon “Jojopyun” Pyun
  • Bot: David “Supa” Martínez García
  • Support: Álvaro “Alvaro” Fernández del Amo
  • Head Coach: Tomás “Melzhet” Campelos Fernández

MKOI starts the top trifecta of the LEC. Barring an occasional Fnatic upset, the three big names always make up the top three of Europe. Lately, Movistar KOI has consistently shown to be a strict third place team, and their sorry performance at every international confirms that. MKOI does plenty of things right, but something always falls apart when they need it most.

2) Karmine Corp

LEC 2026 Summer Split power rankings: KC

KC has the highest odds to beat G2 in the LEC. Image credit: Wojciech Wandzel / Riot Games

  • Top: Kim “Canna” Chang-dong
  • Jungle: Martin “Yike” Sundelin
  • Mid: Kang “kyeahoo” Ye-hoo
  • Bot: Caliste “Caliste” Henry-Hennebert
  • Support: Alan “Busio” Cwalina
  • Head Coach: Bok “Reapered” Han-gyu

Just before the end, Karmine Corp marks the first real question mark in the LEC. KC constantly delivers a great regular season and rivals G2, but seldom comes out on top in the playoffs. With the form they showed at the EWC, they remain a definitive top two team with the hope to this time beat them.

KC is a resilient team. The French organisation is willing to play up, but they’re mostly great teamfighters who can never be counted out of any game.

1) G2 Esports

LEC 2026 Summer Split power rankings: G2

G2 is the LEC Summer Split favorite. Image credit: Wojciech Wandzel / Riot Games

  • Top: Sergen “BrokenBlade” Çelik
  • Jungle: Rudy “SkewMond” Semaan
  • Mid: Rasmus “Caps” Borregaard Winther
  • Bot: Steven “Hans Sama” Liv
  • Support: Lampros “Labrov” Papoutsakis
  • Head Coach: Luka “Perkz” Perković

G2 is always the favorite to win in Europe, but they’re currently showing their best form in years. An excellent First Stand, an almost as good MSI, and an EWC where they lost to the eventual champions, their magic is in full force.

A team full of highly talented players, G2 can play through every lane and has all the picks to boot. In the playoffs, they’re better than any opposition, and their greatest enemy is themselves. Over aggression is the only way they could possibly lose to KC. Otherwise, G2 is the clear favorite and the team to bet on.
