All competing LTA 2025 Championship teams
Six teams are competing in the 2025 LTA Championship. Those teams include:
- FlyQuest
- 100 Thieves
- Shopify Rebellion
- Keyd Stars
- RED Canids
- paiN Gaming
FlyQuest, Shopify Rebellion, and 100 Thieves are the favorites to win the inaugural LTA Championship. There’s a clear separation between the six sides present at this event, as North American teams are generally considered to be much stronger than their South American counterparts. It’s no surprise that the three LTA North teams are considered clear favorites ahead of their LTA South counterparts.
- FlyQuest in particular has stood out with its international performance this year, looking competitive versus the world’s top team, Gen.G, while also managing to cleanly defeat international contenders like G2 Esports.
- Shopify Rebellion and 100 Thieves are more surprising names, besting out favored NA opponents including Cloud9 and Team Liquid. But it’s no fluke that these two sides are represented here. Shopify Rebellion, in particular, has looked promising as the year has progressed.
Although RED Canids and paiN Gaming haven’t shown enough to suggest they’re likely to cause upsets, Vivo Keyd Stars may be different.
- Keyd Stars performed excellently in the last LTA South split and could be a potential dark horse of the 2025 LTA Championship, especially considering the team has already qualified for Worlds and can experiment more this time around, playing more freely.
It’s also worth noting that FlyQuest will go into its match with Keyd Stars with a major disadvantage because of Bwipo’s absence due to suspension, and FQ may underperform given the sudden and unexpected, albeit temporary, roster disruption.
LTA 2025 Championship format
- The LTA 2025 Championship will be played through a double-elimination playoff bracket
- Every match in the tournament will be a best-of-five series, which means the first team to win three games wins the match
FlyQuest and Keyd Stars have already qualified for Worlds. Because of this, these two teams will start in the upper bracket final, ensuring they both fall within the top three in the final standings. This means there’s realistically only one more spot left for Worlds 2025, and the other four teams will want to give it their all to qualify.

LTA 2025 Championship betting tips and predictions
While most are likely banking on the last LTA North split’s winner FlyQuest to win the LTA Championship, it may be smarter to bet on the team underperforming.
The upper bracket final will see FlyQuest take on Keyd Stars, and those looking for a potential high-value LoL betting pick may want to side with the South American team as the underdog to cause an upset with Bwipo missing for the LTA North champions.
There’s a real chance that 100 Thieves will be the other team to make it to the grand final, with its recent showings inspiring confidence that the team is riding high after the addition of veteran top laner Dhokla. A run all the way to the championship final wouldn’t be a surprise, and the odds for such a run are reasonable.
