Bilibili Gaming vs T1 at Worlds 2026 Playoffs
The League of Legends World Championship Knockout Stage is the final stage of the competition for 2026. The second semifinal opposes Bilibili Gaming and T1.
BLG vs T1 is the clash of two opposite storylines. BLG is the one LPL team that has a winning record against Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok’s squad, thanks to a couple of Mid-Season Invitational victories. However, T1 has never lost a single best-of-five series at Worlds against the LPL.
Yesterday, Gen.G finally broke their record by managing to qualify for a LoL Worlds finals for the first time ever. Today, T1 could do the reverse one, by breaking their long-standing impervious status against the LPL.
On paper, BLG should be heavily favored in this match-up. Looking at their respective forms, Bilibili Gaming has been at their best in the Summer Split. While their Swiss run wasn’t great afterwards, they showed Dplus KIA that they weren’t to be trifled with.
Against them, T1’s current form is nothing impressive. The problem is that their current form means nothing come the Worlds playoffs. T1 has plot armor that always overpowers them for this stage of the competition.
