Worlds 2026 Playoffs
The League of Legends World Championship Knockout Stage is the final stage of the competition for the season. The eight teams that made it through the Swiss stage need to win three straight best-of-fives, and the one that succeeds becomes the 2026 League of Legends World Champion.
T1 has won six out of the 13 Worlds that have taken place since they joined the OGN in 2013. If they win once again, they’ll have won half of the World Championships since their arrival.
Across all these years, T1 hasn’t lost a single match against an LPL team in the Knockout Stage. The head-to-head is a staggering 12 for 0 (13-0 when adding their 2025 play-in match against Invictus Gaming), with a game score of 36-12 (39-13 with IG).
Thanks to them, the LCK has won 10 out of those 13 titles, with China getting the last three. The rest of South Korea claimed the other four.
Will Bilibili Gaming spearhead the LPL to their fourth title? Will T1 get their seventh, or will Gen.G finally break their curse? Or can 2026 be the year of the West?
