Welcome to our FanDuel reviews! Here, we’re going to take you through the sports and casino offerings as well as some of the bonuses at FanDuel and answer that all important question: is FanDuel legit?

Established in 2009, FanDuel has been enjoying an excellent reputation for many years. They even took the first eSports bets in the USA! However, eSports fans shouldn’t get too excited because there is no dedicated eSports section on their website. Don’t worry though, there’s still plenty to go at so let’s jump in.

FanDuel Pro and Con

Bonus Offers & Bonus Bets

One of the most impressive selling points of FanDuel is that they don’t offer just one bonus, not at all. At the time of writing, they had a staggering 13 sportsbook and casino bonuses to choose from, which is pretty good news for the FanDuel rating. The hardest thing for players here is choosing which one is going to be the most lucrative for them.

Keep your eye on them too because some bonuses spring up for events such as Black Friday.

If you’re brand new to FanDuel, we’d recommend checking out the welcome bonuses including a $1,000 No Sweat Free bet sports bonus. And that’s just to get you started. Loyal bettors can take advantage of TNT Tuesdays, which gets you $10 back on same game parlays regardless of whether you win or lose. It’s almost rude not to take part at this point!

Casino goers can capitalize on a $1,000 no sweat bonus + $100 in site credits. When it comes to bonuses, it’s important to remember that you’ll need to be physically located in the US states where the bonus is running. Otherwise, you might not be able to claim your bonus!

Usability, Look & Feel

Our FanDuel review found that they like to keep things nice and simple for players. The site is split into two distinct sections: FanDuel sportsbook and FanDuel casino. They also have dedicated racing and Fantasy sections.

Both sites load up quickly and have a classic, aesthetically pleasing blue and white color scheme.

All of the sports are helpfully displayed down the left-hand side of the screen whereas the casino games are categorized to help you narrow down the selection. Mobile gamers will be pleased to hear that FanDuel has put just as much effort into their app too!

Payments

One thing that may slightly affect our FanDuel ratings is the fairly limited array of deposit options. Each option has a minimum deposit of $10 but there are no deposit fees across any of the methods.

To deposit at FanDuel, you can use:

  • PayPal
  • Prepaid FanDuel card
  • Online bank transfer
  • Credit/debit cards
  • PlayNearMe

Although it would be great to see a few more options here, the fact that PayPal has allowed the site to use their service is a big tick in a big box when it comes to our questions: is FanDuel legit? Those players in the UK will also need to be aware that it is currently illegal to bet using a credit card in the UK.

Customer Service

Our FanDuel reviews found that although it’s not as easy to find the customer support section of the website (we had to scroll way down to the bottom and find a small link on the word “here”). However, once you find your way there, it’s not a bad service.

As we said in the Betrivers reviews, we always prefer a 24/7 customer support service and FanDuel has just that in the form of live chat. We couldn’t find a phone number or email address on the site, but there is a helpful FAQ section to help you with the little things.

License & Security

Unlike a lot of US providers, FanDuel is pretty widely available, with licenses to operate a sportsbook in 13 states including:

  • Arizona
  • Colorado
  • Connecticut
  • Iowa
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Louisiana
  • Michigan
  • New Jersey
  • Pennsylvania
  • Tennessee
  • Virginia
  • West Virginia

They also allow paid contests in fantasy sports from all but 4 states!

This is very good news for the FanDuel ratings, we’re used to seeing providers only operating in 2-3 states. Similarly, they display licenses from Atlantic City as well as New Jersey. This goes a long way in answering the question “is FanDuel legit?”.

FanDuel doesn’t shy away from revealing their average win amounts and info is clearly displayed on their site. It’s not often we see a provider who is this open and readily provides this much clarity which is more great news for the FanDuel ratings.

Rewards & Loyalty Programs

If you’re going to become a loyal player at FanDuel, they’re going to try and keep the deal sweet for you. They’ll do it in the form of their loyalty program: FanDuel Points! You’ll be automatically enrolled as soon as you start betting. It’s simple, the more you bet, the more you earn.

Every $1 you bet will earn 5 Fanduel Points (FDP) and you can start earning rewards from as little as 50 FDP (which is pretty good seeing as all of the deposit methods have a $10 minimum!).

FDP points expire after 1 year, but this is more than enough time to make sure you get the reward you need!

FanDuel Sports

Sports betting markets are in no short supply over at FanDuel. Our FanDuel review found that alongside the extensive dedicated racing section, there were 18 sports to choose from all listed on the left side of the page.

American football fans will be happy to learn that the site focuses heavily on the NFL league. This section also has its own dedicated bonuses to sweeten the deal even more.

The same goes for the NBA, which is also heavily featured. FanDuel sure knows who their markets are and how to cater to them!

Odds

Because their market is so heavily US focused (although UK and Canadian players can access the Fantasy contests too), the odds at FanDuel are displayed decimally. Unfortunately, we were unable to find any tools that would allow us to change the display.

Having said that, although the odds are not the best we’ve seen on the market, they’re still more than worth it. Remember to be smart about what you choose to bet on and you won’t go wrong here!

Live Betting & Streaming

One of the major selling points we found in the FanDuel ratings is live betting. At the time of writing, there were 15 live matches ongoing in sports across tennis, soccer and more.

Alongside live betting, you can also watch the games via FanDuel’s in-house live streaming service. All you need to do is log into your account, click on the game you want to stream, watch and bet!

Limits

At FanDuel, they seem very committed to player safety and provide methods for players to impose limits upon themselves. These include:

  • Deposit limits (self-imposed)
  • Statewide exclusions
  • Timeouts
  • Parental controls for if minors have access to your computer
  • And many more!

Product Summary and Conclusion

Sports are clearly one of the main focuses at FanDuel and their commitment to a great service has really paid off. You can go from finding your sport, watching the game, betting and winning all in one place.

Fanduel FAQs

🔓Can I trust a FanDuel review?

Reliable eSports betting reviews are our bread and butter here at EsportsBetting. Our goal is to do the research and get all the relevant info together for you so you can get back to what’s important: placing your bets! We’ll make sure you can decide which provider is best for you in the simplest way we know how.

🤩How does the FanDuel rating measure up?

Just as we saw when we asked the question “is Betfair eSports legit?”, our FanDuel review found that they’re a big competitor in the industry. We consider many different factors when deciding on our rating and as you’ll be able to see, they’re among the best we’ve reviewed.

✔Is FanDuel legit?

There are a few different ways to see if a provider is legit. You can check their licenses, check their position in the stock exchange, check the other sources like PayPal that connect themselves with the site. If that’s won you over (and let’s face it, it should!), we’d recommend checking out the FanDuel promo codes to make the most of everything they have on offer.

Overall Conclusion

After all is said and done, we’ve reached one conclusion. Is FanDuel legit? Yes! Our FanDuel review has revealed a lucrative set of exclusive bonuses, extensive licensing, and impressive customer support. If you’re a newbie looking to begin your betting career or a veteran hoping to find your new favorite provider, you’ll probably find what you’re looking for in FanDuel.

We’d have liked to see more of an eSports offering from FanDuel and maybe that’s in their future but for now, sports and casino fans need no more!

If your journey of finding out the most legit providers isn’t over, we’ve also answered the question “is BetMGM legit?” and many others!
