The League of Legends ARAM game mode is finally getting an update with a limited-time map rework inspired by Arcane.

League of Legends may be one of the most popular MOBAs, but not all game modes are equally treated. Summoner’s Rift gets constant updates from Riot. However, All Middle All Mid hasn’t gotten a major overhaul since the return of Butcher’s Bridge in 2019. Fortunately, ARAM lovers are in luck, as Riot Games revealed a major map rework. For a limited time, players can jump into an Arcane-inspired ARAM map to duke it out.

What’s more, the map rework comes with unique Piltover and Zaun-inspired buffs and Nemesis quests for Arcane champions.

New Arcane map replaces Field of Justice in ARAM

ARAM’s Field of Justice map will be replaced with Piltover and Zaun’s Bridge of Progress from Arcane for a limited time.

The Bridge of Progress was part of a major plot point in the first season of the League of Legends-based animated Emmy-wining Netflix series Arcane. Its addition to the game is no coincidence, as it aligns with the premier of the show’s second season.

True to the source, the Bridge of Progress reveal trailer showcases Champions from Arcane duking it out in the typical 5 vs. 5 team composition. However, a map rework isn’t the only thing fans can expect.

Both teams start at either Piltover’s or Zaun’s side of the bridge, complete with unique announcers and shopkeepers. Unlike the Howling Abyss, the Bridge of Progress has a side lane certain Champions can best pair with their abilities, and the bushes are replaced by gas and fog. Additionally, Players can get unique Piltover and Zaun-inspired buffs when they destroy inhibitors.

Finally, the mode has Nemesis Quests for Arcane Champions. These include Jayce and Viktor, Singed and Heimerdinger, Vi and Warwick, and Jinx and Caitlyn. Naturally, Jinx and Ekko also have Nemesis Quests. After all, the two duked it on on this very bridge in the show.

When will the Bridge of Progress come to League of Legends?

The Bridge of Progress debuts in League of Legends patch 14.22, which is set to come out on November 6, 2024

The Arcane-inspired Bridge of Progress coming to League of Legends is no coincidence. After all, Arcane Season 2 is set to premiere on November 9. This is just three days after the Bridge of Progress ARAM update.

However, similar to Butcher’s Bridge, the Bridge of Progress is a limited-time map rework. The rework will go away on January 8, 2025. When it does, players can expect to see the usual Howling Abyss map again.
