T1 vs HLE LCK 2025 Round 3 betting tips, match prediction

With T1 running on an impressive winning streak in the 2025 LCK season’s third round, HLE will get a shot at payback for its defeat in the 2025 Road to MSI tournament, but what chance does it have at victory versus HLE?

T1’s first match in this year’s LCK round three saw T1 finally break Gen.G’s lengthy winning streak that had been stacking since the end of the 2025 LCK Cup. The team still holds third place in the LCK’s rankings, but defeating Hanwha Life Esports will help it edge closer to claiming the second-ranked spot.

T1 vs HLE match overview

  • Tournament: LCK 2025
  • Stage: Rounds 3-5
  • Game: League of Legends
  • Format: Best-of-three

Betting tip: HLE’s more reliably coordinated playing style has a decent chance of giving it the advantage it needs to win against T1 in a drawn-out match.

T1 vs HLE match analysis

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that T1’s Keria could easily compete for the title of best professional support player in the world of League of Legends. Despite KT Rolster’s Peter playing excellently in what should have been an easy bot lane win for KT when it faced T1 in this split, Keria used his superior initiation abilities to help Gumayusi dominate the lane and snowball into the heavy carry the squad needed to best KT.

Faker is always reliable enough to ensure he never gives the enemy mid laner a major advantage, which can’t be said for T1’s top laner Doran, who usually plays too passively to become a proper carry. Fortunately for him, Oner’s ganks and objective acquisitions from the jungle usually ensure his team has a decent early-game advantage. T1 sticking to the same tactic of playing around Gumayusi will likely be its safest bet if it wants to win against HLE, especially considering how strong T1’s early game already is.

T1

Hanwha Life Esports hasn’t been the luckiest team recently. The squad lost its chance to qualify for the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational to T1 and then proceeded to instantly get knocked out of the 2025 Esports World Cup playoffs by the LPL’s AG.AL. The two teams that HLE lost to proceeded to reach those respective tournaments’ grand finals before losing to Gen.G. Fortunately, the team’s recent dominating victory against KT Rolster should have given it some much-needed confidence, something that has been lacking for HLE.

Zeus is already known to be one of the best professional top laners in the world, and while Peanut isn’t as reliable as Oner, his ganks still usually ensure that his presence is felt. Viper and Delight are excellent in the bottom lane and frequently dominate the laning phase to help Viper become a dangerous carry in the late game.

HLE’s biggest anomaly is Zeka, who has been in a slump since the team was eliminated in the Road to MSI. But Azir game against KT showed promise, and Zeka’s proper picking up may give HLE the steam it needs to return to the excellent form from earlier this year.

Champion pool

  • T1 will want to stick with the champions it has seen the most success with, especially against Gen.G. This means that fans can expect Ahri, Viktor, Xin Zhao, Sejuani, Ambessa, Orianna, Gwen, Jhin, Aphelios, Draven, Rakan, Alistar, and Lulu.
  • Hanwha Life Esports tends to go for a limited pool of champions. This includes Jayce, Gwen, Xin Zhao, Sylas, Renata Glasc, Ambessa, Sejuani, and Azir. Zeus didn’t see much success with K’Santa against KT and may opt to ban it to ensure Doran doesn’t get him.

T1 vs HLE betting picks and predictions

Despite HLE’s slump, it has decisively won against T1 multiple times recently, and the same may happen again here. With the matches against KT and NS Redforce giving HLE’s players the required confidence to compete as they did before, the team will want to play around the consistently reliable Viper to ensure he can carry HLE to victory against T1.

Best picks

  • Total maps over 2.5 @ 1.98: HLE and T1 have both seen varying levels of success in this year’s LCK, and their close skill makes a third map likely here.
  • T1 to get first blood @ 1.84: T1’s early game is strong, as seen in all of its recent matches. It wouldn’t be surprising if T1 takes first blood early.
