T1 and BLG will face off at MSI 2025 with a spot in the upper bracket final on the line, and while there’s no threat of elimination, smart betters will want to know which team has a better chance of winning considering both sides have been performing well thus far.

T1 and BLG have both showcased excellent performance in their recent matches. From T1 defeating HLE in the last Road to MSI to BLG steamrolling through the play-in stage without losing a single game, it wouldn’t be an understatement to call both teams contenders for reaching the event’s grand final. However, only one team will win here and move on to the upper bracket final.

T1’s reputation ensures the team always has high expectations placed on it, but it hasn’t been able to deliver on those expectations of late. Faker does an excellent job with champions like Oriana and Sylas, while Oner’s Jarvan and Sejuani are still extremely strong. Gumayusi has recently been hit or miss in the bottom lane, with the player performing well as a carry in some games and very little impact in others.

Much of the match may be determined by how T1’s top laner Doran plays. While he played well against CFO, that isn’t really the established norm for the player, and he’s known to choke in the biggest international matches.

BLG is one of the strongest teams in the ongoing tournament, but it has also stumbled recently. The team’s performance in the recent LPL split wasn’t its best, though the squad still performed well enough to comfortably land in second place and qualify to MSI. Bin and ON have showcased the most impressive gameplay in the event thus far, with previous MSI champion Bin dominating the top lane in most games and ON’s initiations setting up game-changing plays for his team.

knight is also an excellent player and will likely be more than a match for Faker in the mid lane. Elk stands as the player with the most carry potential for Bilibili Gaming, and while Beichuan’s performance sometimes leaves much to be desired, the team’s objective acquisition is still decent thanks to the side’s tactical synergy.
