MOUZ completed what was an absolutely wild run through Stage 3. After going 0-2 in best-of-ones, the team rallied back with three best-of-three victories and eliminated Team Liquid, Aurora Gaming, and Legacy. There’s no opportunity for rest though, as MOUZ jumps right from this match into a showdown with Team Spirit.

MOUZ had an arduous run through Stage 3 of the BLAST Austin Major. There’s no other word to describe it. While the team was ultimately successful, but it took an absolutely herculean effort from the team to make the playoffs.

Not only did all three of MOUZ’s best-of-three wins end with a 2-1 score, but the team’s victories were almost all close. It took three overtimes to put away Team Liquid and its wins over Legacy ended 13-11 and 13-10. MOUZ’s map loss to Aurora Gaming was a 13-11 heartbreaker.

Betting sites seem to be looking at those struggles as a demonstration of weakness, though, when it ought to be seen as a sign of strength. MOUZ has been finding ways to win despite walking a treacherous road. It’s also been doing this despite AWPer Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás wildly underperforming in several of the team’s games.

Though torzsi has taken some series off in MOUZ’s strong 2025, he’s also typically rebounded well. Many of his best series this year have come after ugly stumbles and that should be the case here.
