The League of Legends Champions Korea is the premier professional league in South Korea. After an entire season beginning in March, the top eight teams get to move on for a chance to represent South Korea at the League of Legends 2026 World Championship.
The top four teams immediately skip to the Season Playoffs, but the lowest-placing Legend Group team goes to the Play-in alongside the top three Rise teams. For them, this is usually just a formality while the three Rise representatives fight over the last playoff spot.
All three teams from the bottom group finished the regular season tied at 10-16, all with particular history. BNK FearX and Nongshim RedForce traded their marksmen earlier in June, turning their semifinal into a grudge match with both players aiming to prove themselves and both teams looking to show they’ve made the correct choice.
As for HANJIN BRION, they’re usually known as the bottom-tier team that regularly claims upset wins against unexpected opponents. This time though, they’re on top of the Rise Group. Despite their name inviting them to be seen as a meme, they’re a proper powerful team that can pose a challenge to Legends opponents.
