LCK 2026 Playoffs

The League of Legends Champions Korea is the Korean tier 1 league. After six months of competition, only the top six teams remain to fight in the LCK 2026 Playoffs. At stake are four spots at the League of Legends 2026 World Championship as well as the title of the most prestigious region.

For the first time since the creation of the league, there are no clear favorites. Four teams could hoist South Korea’s trophy and it wouldn’t come as a surprise regarding any of them. Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, T1, and Dplus KIA have been neck-and-neck all year long, with KT Rolster often being a fair rival. In the LCK 2026 Playoffs as well, any match-up between these four (or even five) can go either way.

Historically, there’s always been one or at least two favorites in the LCK. For the past three years, it was Gen.G. Before that, they shared this role with T1. Now that Gen.G is back to being mortals, they’re merely a strong team, one that every top half opponent can challenge and take down.
