We extracted Kalshi trading data for the 2026 Valorant Champions event in Shanghai and found that total trade volume has already reached $26,87 million USD. The analysis was done on October 15th, 2026, at 10 AM CEST, and is bound to keep growing because the event isn’t over yet.
Valorant Champions Kalshi trade volume analysis
Our analysis covered 380 standalone markets across 32 Valorant Champions matches thus far, without taking into account combo trades. The markets include match-winners, map winners, handicaps, total maps, outright winner markets, group winner, and several others.
According to the analysis, the trading is tightly concentrated on match-winners and map-winners. More precisely, match-winner trades amounted to $18.44 million USD, while map-winner trades amounted to $7.75 million USD.
That’s 68.64% and 28.84% of the total trade volume, respectively. Combined, match-winners and map-winners take up nearly 97.50% of the total trade volume.
| Trade type | Trade volume (millions) | % of total trade volume |
| Match-winner | $18.44 USD | 68.64% |
| Map-winner | $7.75 USD | 28.84% |
| Others | $0.68 USD | 2.52% |
Individual match trades
When it comes to esports prediction markets of individual matches, there are several standout performers we need to point out. The top three matches according to the trading volume amounted to $4.80 million USD, which is roughly 17.49% of the Valorant Champions total trade volume.
| Match | Date | Trading volume |
| G2 vs Paper Rex | 29th September | $1.97 million USD |
| Nongshim vs Vitality | 8th October | $1.39 million USD |
| LOUD vs Vitality | 30th September | $1.34 million USD |
Mind you, these figures represent all open markets for the given matches. G2 vs Paper Rex was the biggest match, racking up nearly $2 million in trading volume, which is roughly 7.34% of the total trade volume.
Another interesting stat worth pointing out is the fact that 106 out of 380 Valorant Champions markets had zero trading volume. Just because a certain event has hundreds of available markets doesn’t necessarily mean they’re going to attract traders.
The figures are bound to keep growing
Mind you, the 2026 Valorant Champions event isn’t done and dusted just yet. There are still three more matches to go, meaning the total trade volume is likely to reach close to 30 million USD in the coming days. Check out our best Valorant prediction market apps and sites for more information.
It will be interesting to see if the Grand Finals match manages to surpass G2 vs Paper Rex trading volume. If it manages to do so, we’re likely to see the total trade volume surpass the 30 million USD mark.
