Valorant map callouts for Lotus explained with images

In Valorant, Lotus is an intricate map where knowing the correct callouts can be the difference between winning and losing, so here’s how to learn them.

Like Haven, Lotus has three sites with A, B, and C. Bombsite A has two paths that players can travel to, whereas B and C only have one direct path for attackers to take. Since each path can have multiple callouts, attackers need to know all of them to plan an effective push. On the other hand, defenders must know the names to inform their team about incoming attackers. With Lotus in the competitive pool and no signs of it leaving, it’s a good idea to learn the map and its callouts.

Thankfully, learning the callouts for Lotus in Valorant is fairly straightforward, especially when compared to a map like Bind.

Lotus callouts on the map itself

Most of the callouts players use on Lotus are the same ones labeled on the in-game map. However, some areas on the map have multiple names worth knowing to ensure players can quickly identify callouts from teammates.

One area that confuses many is the rectangular area on the left of A main that connects with A link. It doesn’t have an official name, but the community calls that area cubby since it’s a small area with hiding spots. One spot players tend to hide is behind the breakable door.

In the B site, the upper area is officially called B upper, but the area outside the door has no name. Valorant players often call the area B platform to differentiate between the two sides of the door there.

Finally, the C site has multiple areas that don’t have an in-game name. The small wooded area where players can plant the bomb is called C platform. The boxes on the backside of the C site where players can hide behind are called C boxes.

Which Valorant maps have three bomb sites?

Haven and Lotus are the only Valorant maps with three bomb sites.

Valorant breaks the mold for tactical shooters in many ways. Almost all games of the genre are limited to just two sites, but both Lotus and Haven have three different bomb sites to learn the callouts for. These maps are usually simple in other areas to offset the complexity.

Lotus, for example, cuts out the traditional mid that would otherwise grant access to all three sites. Haven is also straightforward, with no other gimmicks or standout features. Playing defense on these maps can be tricky, as one site is guaranteed to be less defended than the others. Playing back and misleading the attackers can be a great way to lure them into a trap.
