Valorant Bind B site

As with all Valorant maps, knowing the correct callouts for Bind is the first step to dominating.

Bind is a map where players are constantly moving, especially on the attacking side. The teleporters and short distance between A and B Site mean that clear communication is key. This applies to both Attackers, who need to know where to go, and Defenders, who need to know precisely where enemies are.

As a map, Bind has a history of confused terms, so getting them right is more important than ever.

Bind callouts labeled on the Valorant map

Like most of the other maps, the default Bind callouts are pretty accurate. However, there are a few different callouts on A that are popular in the community. A bath is more commonly called A showers, and A lamps is called A truck often. Some people call out A tower as heaven instead, matching callouts from other maps like Haven.

Oddly enough, A short and A cubby are also called mid or A mid. The same goes for B short. Since there’s no true mid on the map, this doesn’t generally cause a problem. The same goes for the teleporters. They’re all mostly called teleporter with more context as to where the enemies are headed.

The callouts on B site don’t have many discrepancies. There’s just one major one that stems from the early days of the game.

Where is hookah on Bind?

Some Valorant players use hookah as a catchall callout for B link, B short, and B window on Bind.

Hookah has historically been a confusing term on Bind. When the game was first released, A and B link were grouped together and called hookah. This was a pretty universal term, and players still use it today. Some people would use it to mean that enemies are pushing into B short. Consequentially, many players still use the term today.

However, as Valorant grew, many people started using hookah as a callout instead of B window on Bind. Because there’s no dedicated place that is actually called hookah, it’s hard to tell exactly what a teammate means if they use it. It’s safe to assume that they mean that enemies are somewhere around B short.

Because there is no official name for the area called hookah, it’s best to just use the actual terms for that area.
