For the longest time, BLG showed clear weaknesses. By now, these no longer appear regionally, or they’re covered by the rest.

BLG is a team that likes to accelerate its games. Fighting in lane, having skirmishes all around the map, that’s been their specialty. Bilibili Gaming is worse off in teamfights, so they want the game to be decided by then.

Luckily, the meta favors exactly that. While some games play at the regular pace, the meta favors supports acting as second junglers, roaming even at level 1 and only returning to their normal lane to gank it. The games go that way until the bot laners run out of fitting picks. Luo “ON” Wen-Jun just so happens to be an expert at aggressive supports, even having his own special champions.

Anyone’s Legend actually tries to block that action. AL favors picking Leona and Rell, intercepting the attempts at hyper-aggression, and then fighting back from there. A roaming comp is fragile if it fails to meet its early goals. From that point on, tanky supports who can easily engage and disengage can take over the game.

Similarly, AL likes picking Shen and Ornn top lane. These two champions can absorb pressure efficiently, while also being able to turn into playmakers. However, they’re fielding a different top laner now, and BLG can take away Shen by picking him as a support, possibly banning Ornn afterwards.
