Why the market favors Bilibili Gaming
DK is an enigma. To sum up their year, they started off as a potential best team in the LCK. By Road to MSI, a top four had formed, and they were the one team left behind in fifth place.
However, they still managed to qualify for EWC. There, they beat both tournament favorites in BLG and Gen.G to win the grand final against Karmine Corp. Afterwards, they caught up in the LCK by having the best Summer alongside Gen.G.
There were still stylistic differences between the teams, and DK had great match-ups against KT Rolster and Gen.G. Dplus KIA faced T1 though, and fell early. Now at Worlds, they went 3-0 in Swiss with two incredible comeback wins. Ultimately, there’s absolutely no telling where their level stands, or how they’ll fare against BLG this time.
Bilibili Gaming are no paragons of consistency either. When all five players click, they’re probably the best team in the world. There’s just often one or several members who will falter in each series. When they do, the result is the BLG that lost to Anyone’s Legend in the LPL, or to Movistar KOI and Top Esports at Worlds.
The baseline is still higher for BLG in this match-up. In the mid lane, Zhuo “Knight” Ding is one of the best players in the world. Heo “ShowMaker” Su can rise to the challenge, but it’s another one of these “can”.
Furthermore, Bilibili Gaming’s relentless playstyle should pose a big threat to DK’s quieter early games. Dplus KIA fell behind against G2, and far behind to T1. DK then managed to find incredible late game teamfights to turn the game around, but BLG won’t make it so easy.

What traders are saying
For the Dplus KIA vs Bilibili Gaming match, most people expect BLG to win. With this match being more of a formality, they’re already focused on BLG’s LoL Worlds Knockout Stage road likely going through all three LCK opponents. Others say DK has high chances of winning citing EWC, but they’re reminded that the World Cup has to be mentioned with an asterisk. Besides, BLG was winning for most of that series.

Prediction: Bilibili Gaming to win
Frankly, this is a risky call. Dplus KIA vs Bilibili Gaming will most likely be very one-sided, but what direction it will take fully depends on both teams’ form on the day. That being said, the form threshold required for BLG to win is lower than that of DK. The most probable outcome is 3-1 in the LPL’s favor.
