Anyone’s Legend upsets Bilibili Gaming, wins the LPL Grand Finals

Shocking the prediction market, Anyone’s Legend beat Bilibili Gaming in the final of the LPL playoffs. After winning Splits 1 and 2, BLG was the strong favorite to win the Split 3 grand final as well. Against all odds though, Anyone’s Legend took BLG by storm and won the series 3-1.

BLG has had their best year in 2026. Internationally, they’ve won their first ever title with First Stand 2026. This comes after they finished in second place at the 2024 World Championship, and 2023 and 2024 Mid-Season Invitationals. This year, they got their third runner-up finish at MSI, except that this was the first time they reached the final from the upper bracket.

Regionally, they’ve been even better. Bilibili Gaming went 30-8 in Bo3s and had lost only a single Bo5, against Team WE.

BLG’s claim to the Golden Road fell when they lost 2-3 against Hanwha Life Esports at MSI, but they have undoubtedly been one of the best teams in 2026. Zhuo “Knight” Ding has been having his best year all season long. Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin has been one of the best top laners in the world for a long time. As a whole, the roster is oppressive and no one seems to find a proper answer.

The LPL Split 3 grand final was a rematch of the upper final. In the upper bracket, Bilibili Gaming beat Anyone’s Legend handily. On Polymarket, the market gave BLG an 84% chance of winning the series. Naturally, the grand final was but a formality on their way to win all three 2026 LPL splits.

Anyone’s Legend wins the LPL Grand Finals

AL not only beat BLG, they also didn’t make it look close. Anyone’s Legend won in four games only, and they made Bilibili Gaming sweat for their one map win.

On two separate maps, AL went up 11-0 before conceding a single kill. In game 2, a single kill is all BLG even got.

Wang “Hope” Jie had two outstanding series this weekend after an entire unimpressive season. Lee “Tarzan” Seung-yong also had one of the best matches of his career.

Over the series, Tarzan stole three drakes and won a 50-50 for a fourth. To finish in style, he also stole a Baron to close out game 4. Adding insult to injury, Hope got a pentakill in the ensuing fight. Tarzan didn’t lose a single Smite fight in return.

This is Anyone’s Legend’s second ever LPL trophy. Their first was Spring 2025, after also finishing the regular season in second place. With it, they’ll represent the LPL as the first seed at Worlds 2026. Bilibili Gaming will join as the second seed from having the most Championship points.

Bilibili Gaming LPL Split 3 2026 Playoffs
