ESL FACEIT Group partners with Brace For Impact
ESL Faceit Group has announced its new partnership with Brace For Impact, a non-profit organization specializing in facilitating Counter-Strike 2 tournaments for women.
The collaboration is meant to revive and continue building the female Counter-Strike scene, after it came to a halt with the discontinuation of the ESL Impact League in 2025.
What is Brace For Impact?
As described on their website, Brace For Impact is “an organization designed to uplift and provide a safe space for all women in Counter-Strike.” The brand originally started as a female CS podcast, but has expanded since.
The Brace For Impact team consists of casters, players, and volunteers who are passionate about making Counter-Strike more accessible for women.
Partnering with EFG is a huge step for the brand, making them the marquee female CS2 event organizer. The partnership is set to guarantee female Counter-Strike events across five regions throughout the upcoming year.
EFG Statement on the Partnership
Anna Pototska, the community partnership manager at ESL FACEIT Group, commented:
“We are incredibly excited to partner with Brace For Impact and support the important work they are doing for women and marginalized genders in Counter-Strike.”
She also added:
“BFI has demonstrated a clear commitment to creating consistent, meaningful competitive opportunities, and this collaboration allows us to help scale that vision globally. By combining their community-first approach with FACEIT’s tournament and Club infrastructure, we believe this partnership can play a significant role in strengthening and sustaining the female Counter-Strike scene across multiple regions.”
Specifics about the upcoming tournaments in 2026 are set to be revealed soon.
