G2 Hel reforms with a new roster to play in the LoL Game Changers

In December 2025, G2 Esports disbanded their female sister team G2 Hel. Four months later, they are reforming the team once more to compete in the LoL Game Changers 2026. G2 Hel comes back with a brand-new roster, keeping only two of their former players.

The LEC champion’s sister team returns to play in 2026. G2 Hel kept two of their former players: Marta “Shiina” Mesas Garrido as their jungler, and their former ADC, Maya “Caltys” Henckel, who is now a mid laner. Alongside them, Adam “Emtest” Emtestam will remain the team’s head coach.

To round out the line-up, G2 Hel recruited:

  • Alice “Wiosna” Mossé, formerly a top laner for MT1 Vision and Gwen.G
  • Isabella “Izzeeri”, bot laner and Wiosna’s teammate in Gwen.G
  • Gina “Lumi” Kircher, a support since 2022 who most recently played for Babos Gaming

Nicolai-Daniel “Chrislai” Uwadia is also under talks to join as assistant coach.

G2 Hel has been one of the strongest names in the women’s scene since 2022. The team won the majority of their tournaments in female competition and almost always placed second otherwise. This new roster will be one of the teams to watch in the Game Changers 2026.

G2 Hel will play in the LoL Game Changers 2026

G2 suspended their sister team due to a lack of funding. Despite their strong results, there were no sponsors and not enough support for the scene either.

Then, the New Esports Org announced that they would relaunch the League Game Changers. The organizers stated that they want to give the assurance of longevity for this program. As a result, the LGC will return in 2026 and 2027 with funds and the project to make it a longer circuit.

Meanwhile, G2 kept looking for sponsors and other options to give the women’s team a new start. As deals with new partners went forward, they quietly held tryouts. Now, the team is reformed, and G2 Hel will compete and make waves again in a brand new League Game Changers.

The LGC hopes to eventually reach the levels of success that the VALORANT Game Changers has. At the same time, the Nova Series will run again in 2026 as well.
