LEC Spring Split Predictions

Here are our predictions for the LEC Spring Split. The LEC Versus gave a good idea of the landscape, and since the rosters haven’t changed since then, this opens up the door for safer bets this split. Interestingly, in the LEC Versus, the results did match most of the outright odds. Seven out of 12 placements were correct, including the top 3 and bottom 2.

G2 Esports, the eternal LEC favorites

In the LEC Versus, we saw G2 in their weakest regional form ever. During this split, the team finished seventh in the regular season, almost missing the playoffs for the first time ever.

After qualifying, however, it became a completely different story. G2 stomped their way through the playoffs, going 7-0 before winning a hard-fought finals 3-2 against Karmine Corp.

G2 has participated in the last ten LEC finals, and they’ve won eight of them. The most recent split has only proven that no matter their form, this team will always be the best bet in Europe.

Karmine Corp, the challengers

Since picking up Caliste in 2025, KC has jumped to being a top team in Europe. In Winter 2025, they won the title. In the LEC Versus, they came one (close) game away from repeating their feat.

KC is at worst a top 4 team in the LEC. With Fnatic turning to dust, that frees up a top spot and guarantees their inclusion in the top 3. While G2 will always end up as the favorite, Karmine is always right on their tail as the best candidate to dethrone them.

Movistar KOI, rounding out the LEC trio

KOI has the exact same record in Europe as KC since the start of 2025.

  • One first place
  • One second place behind G2
  • One third place losing to the other team
  • One fourth place losing to Fnatic

By all aspects, they’re very similar to each other. Besides the playstyles, of course, as MKOI has better scouting and preparation while KC wins on the fundamentals. This makes the latter better during the regular season, while MKOI wakes up in the playoffs.

The most recent results break the tie in KC’s favor, leaving Movistar in third place in the predictions.
