League of Legends rostermania: All roster swaps for the 2026 Summer Split in LoL Esports

After a quiet Spring offseason, several top teams are making major changes ahead of the 2026 Summer Split. Bottom-tier teams attempting to catch up, top-tier teams trying to fix their issues before Worlds, new faces are coming in.

How will roster swaps affect the 2026 Summer Split?

Most of these roster swaps are on lower-tier teams. However, there are some notable exceptions that might shake up the power rankings.

Cloud9 is changing their entire coaching staff, and adding a second mid and bot laner. Importantly, fans pointed to Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen as a potential cause behind their constant failures in the playoffs.

In Europe, G2 Esports is replacing their head coach Dylan Falco with their former mid and bot laner Perkz. Dylan Falco had been part of G2 for five years, and was with Fnatic during their 2018 run. The team wanted to do away with the status quo, hence this change.

Lastly, three LPL teams made big changes. BLG’s top laner Bin benched himself for performance reasons. As BLG had been the best team in the world for half of 2026, this will affect the global order.

Then, second-place Top Esports traded their support for NiP’s. As always, TES is a strong team regionally before fully collapsing at every international.

To finish things off, Invictus Gaming is rejoined by its two star players, TheShy and Rookie. Earlier, the duo went inactive, and now IG has been relegated to Group Nirvana. With only six matches to play in that group in Split 3, will TheShy and Rookie manage to restore IG to its former glory?
