Upper bracket final: C9 vs TL, US

The League of Legends Championship Series Summer Playoffs sends its three best teams to the 2026 League of Legends World Championship. In the upper final, Team Liquid and Cloud9 have already earned their ticket to the big stage. Now, they’re fighting for seeding and for the LCS title.

For C9, this is their first time reaching a qualification spot since 2023. At the same time, their last LCS title goes all the way back to Spring 2023. For the organisation that debuted as the team to beat, this is a harsh fall. Now, they are once again on the path to claim a title, and they’ve got two shots at it.

Against them, Team Liquid has found more recent success. That said, their most recent victory was still five splits ago.

TLAW is coming into this match as a strong favorite. During the Summer Split, they were undefeated until LYON brought them down, but they’d made short work of Cloud9 when they faced. At least, that match was in week 1 and C9 has honed their synergy since then.
