European esports organization OG has unveiled a rebranding with the team swapping from its long-time blue coloring to its classic, original green coloring for 2026.

The rebrand was announced on Jan. 1, 2026, but teased on New Year’s Even, Dec. 31, 2025 in a series of social media skits.

OG goes green and returns to its roots for 2026

When OG was formed in 2015, from the Dota 2 stack (monkey) Business, they used a hexagonal logo with the letters O and G in white, flanked by a green background. However, in late 2017, OG would rebrand, turning their primary color from green to blue.

The change also saw the Red Bull energy logo added to the top of their insignia. Red Bull have been a sponsor of OG since 2017, and it’s speculated that the rebrand now comes after a change in their sponsorship agreement with the energy drink company, however this is unconfirmed. While Red Bull will no longer be a part of OG’s logo, their branding still exists on much of OG’s platforms, such as their websites and socials, and are still listed as a sponsor on OG’s website.

In their announcement, OG stated that “Green shaped our history. Now, it fuels our future.”

Additionally, OG announced that new 2026 jerseys will be available soon, with the new green branding and logo.

The OG organization has had a tumultuous 2025. After an acquisition in September 2025 by the Chiliz Group, the team started trimming fat, first cutting their Latin Americas Dota 2 team, then their main European roster for Dota 2. Meanwhile, they revamped their CS2 roster, adding Casper “cadiaN” Møller and Timur “FL4MUS” Maryev.

The team then signed a new Dota 2 roster in the Southeast Asian region, as their primary Dota line-up. That team has found good success, but not tournament wins, at the time of writing. Now, it appears, OG is looking to turn over a new leaf for 2026.
