Aside from Gen.G, every team in the ongoing MSI tournament has struggled at some point. Whether it’s T1 barely winning against CFC or AL getting knocked down to the lower bracket by Gen.G, only one spot is left in the grand final alongside the reigning LCK champion. T1 and AL will duke it out in the lower bracket final to see which team moves on to meet Gen.G and which one gets eliminated.

- Game: League of Legends

T1 vs AL match analysis
Unlike in the recent LCK split, T1 has been much more consistent at MSI 2025, defeating most teams and showing excellent skill in the process. In particular, Doran seems to have really come into his own, playing much more confidently and winning more laning phases. While his performance in the final game against Gen.G left much to be desired, he otherwise played very well. However, his habit of occasionally getting impatient arguably cost T1 its match against Gen.G. Repeating the same mistake against another strong team like AL could spell trouble.
Faker and Oner’s synergy continues to shine in every game, and Gumayusi still has extremely high carry potential, especially with champions like Lucian and Corki. However, the fearless draft system seems to have affected Gumayusi’s performance, since he struggled to carry with champions like Xayah and Miss Fortune. Fortunately, Keria’s versatility usually makes up for that.
T1’s biggest issue is seemingly that the team obsesses over getting objectives, even when it’s unrealistic. Starting Atakhan with two players when the rest of the team is far away or grouping on Baron, only to get caught by Jinx’s traps versus Gen.G, is a good recent example this.

Anyone’s Legend may not have many achievements under its belt relative to T1 and Gen.G, but it has quickly become a favorite to reach the grand final. The team’s mid laner, Shanks, is extremely skilled, ensuring he’s likely more than a match for a strong mid laner like Faker. Tarzan has also remained consistent throughout the tournament, with his objective acquisitions always being strategic, unlike that of T1’s Oner.
Hope, Flandre, and Kael are sometimes a hit or miss. Flandre is an extremely strong top laner and much more consistent than Doran, but he tends to roam too much. While this helps the mid lane, it also leaves his own lane open for farming, which can snowball the enemy top laner into a strong force.
The team’s lack of international experience becomes apparent when taking a closer look at Tarzan and Hope. Tarzan has a bad habit of going MIA and farming without making his presence known. Hope’s positioning also needs a lot of work. As for Kael, his supporting isn’t nearly as polished as most other players, which could be bad for AL.

Champion pool
- AL is one of the top three teams here, so T1 will likely want to go with some of its strongest picks. This includes Ahri, Viktor, Xin Zhao, Sejuani, Ambessa, Orianna, Gwen, Jhin, Miss Fortune, Rakan, Alistar, and Lulu.
- Anyone’s Legend’s champion pool is quite large, but the team will likely go for strong picks like Ksante, Naafiri, Sylas, Caitlyn, Karma, Rumble, Pantheon, Annie, Kaisa, and Rell.

T1 vs AL betting pick and predictions
The match between T1 and AL is likely to be a close one, especially considering the teams similarities in strength. If you’re exploring esports betting sites, this matchup offers some of the most exciting betting opportunities of the tournament. Both teams obliterated BLG with a 3-0 score and lost to Gen.G with a close final score of 2-3. Where AL lacks in international experience, it makes up for it with pure skill and teamwork. The team properly communicated before taking fights, which is something T1 has recently neglected to do. This could potentially give AL a slight edge in the match.
