VALORANT Mobile English Beta: Release date, how to join, new agents and map
Riot Games is now officially launching VALORANT Mobile in English for the first time, something that players have been waiting very long for. The beta build is already prepared for both iOS and Android, and while the gameplay is not completely the same as the PC version, much of the content is carried over into the mobile version.
VALORANT Mobile English beta release date and pre-download
The VALORANT Mobile English beta is planned for September 16, 2025 only in China.
Earlier, the first launch was already held in China on August 19, 2025, and the pre-downloads had been open since August 15, which gave people chance to install it before. Riot has not confirmed the exact time the servers open for English. The official starting time is set on 19:00 CN Time.
What’s new in VALORANT Mobile English beta
The upcoming English beta will be bringing more content for players. In this version, the agents Clove and Fade are included, plus the new map Pearl is added too. Riot has already confirmed that these are going to be part of the mobile beta. There is still no word global English beta. Some sources mention we can expect a global beta.

VALORANT Mobile platforms and system requirements
For Android, the requirements include:
- Snapdragon 675 or higher
- Minimum 4 GB RAM
- Android 7 or newer
On iOS, the minimum requirements are:
- A11 Bionic chip or later
- 2 GB RAM or above
- iOS 11+
But the beta is locked only for the China region. Players from outside still may join by using tools such as LagoFast, even if it is not the most ideal way, still possible.

How to join the VALORANT Mobile beta
Joining does not take many steps if your device is ready:
- Check if your device meets the minimum specifications.
- Go to one of the supported app stores (TapTap is usually preferred by English users).
- Pre-download early if it is available, so you will be prepared at the launch.
- Start the app, log in with Riot account or create new, then you may begin playing.
For many, this beta really feels like the actual start of VALORANT on mobile. It’s not the full thing yet, but for players who’ve been waiting forever, it’s finally a real shot at playing the game on a small screen
