It’s no secret that Valorant skins can be pretty expensive, and not everyone can splurge hundreds of dollars on a bunch of pixels. Luckily, Riot Games makes skins more accessible by dropping the Valorant Night Market event every once in a while. Below, we tell you everything you need to know about the Night Market.

What is the Valorant Night Market?

The Night Market in Valorant is a limited-time event that allows you to buy skins at lower prices.

When the event goes live, you will have six different weapon skins presented to you, with each one coming with its own discount. These six skins are locked in for the entire event, meaning you cannot reroll or refresh them. What you get is what you get.

For a lot of players, the Night Market is the cheapest way to get the best Valorant skins without having to pay full price.

How does the Valorant Night Market work?

When the Night Market starts, a small card icon will appear in the top-right corner of your main menu. Once you click it, you will see six hidden cards.

You can click on the cards to reveal them and see:

  • The weapon skin
  • The discount percentage
  • The final price

Both the skins and discounts are completely random. The discounts range anywhere from 10% to 49%. So, if you see something 40% that you actually like, that’s a really good deal.

If you don’t like what you see, there’s not much to do other than wait for the next Night Market event to show up. The event usually lasts about two weeks, so you have plenty of time to decide.

What skins can appear in the Valorant Night Market?

Most skins can appear in the Night Market, but not all of them. Exclusive and Ultra Rare edition skins are not included, so you won’t see the super rare or special bundles.

Also, newer skins can’t show up right away. A skin needs to be out for at least two Acts before it can show up in the Night Market.

That being said, you shouldn’t expect new skins in your Night Market. The offers usually come from older collections, which is great if you weren’t playing Valorant when those skins were released.

When is the next Valorant Night Market?

The Valorant Night Market doesn’t follow a strict calendar date, but it’s very easy to predict. Riot Games usually rolls it out once every competitive Act.

Since Valorant Acts typically last around two months, it’s safe to say Night Markets appear once every two to three months. Additionally, it usually goes live in the second half of an Act. This is how you can predict the Valorant Night Market schedule 2026.

Just remember that there are hundreds of Valorant skins available, and you only get six options in your Night Market. If you see a skin you’ve been wanting for a long time, there is a very low chance you will reroll it again next time.

Are Night Market discounts worth it?

The value of Night Market discounts really depends on what you roll. Remember, both the skin and the discount rate are completely random.

The discounts range from around 10% to 49%. If you manage to hit a skin you’ve wanted at a 40%+ discount, then even the most expensive skin in Valorant can be relatively affordable. You’re pretty much getting your dream skin at almost half the price.

So, to determine whether a skin and discount is worth it, ask yourself the following questions:

  • Do you want the skin?
  • Is the discount over 25%?
  • Are you comfortable spending VP in these two weeks?

Don’t feel pressured to buy a skin you don’t actually want just because you see a 40% discount tag attached to it. It’s better to save your money than spend it on something you aren’t going to use anyway.

Oh, and there’s also a Valorant refund feature you can use to get back your VP in case you no longer like a skin. But it’s not as straightforward to use as you may think so check out our Valorant refund guide.
